    BP monitoring made easy

The Withings Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor measures your systolic, diastolic blood pressure, and heart rate and then transmits those results to the Health Mate app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Once it has that information, the app automatically compares the data to National Health Institute standards so you can better gauge the state of your health.

    Health Mate application

The free Health Mate application makes tracking easy by reminding you to take measurements and by providing useful information about blood pressure and hypertension. The app lets you measure your blood pressure in a single gesture, synchronizes it with your online account, and compares your results to the National Health Institute standards. It also allows quick sharing of data in Excel or CSV file format with your physician. In addition, Health Mate automatically graphs your readings to display blood pressure trends. The app even reminds you to never forget to take your blood pressure.

    Accurate tracking

FDA and medical CE approved, the Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor precisely monitors your blood pressure over time.

    Connectivity choices

      Great product!!

The previous version was hit and miss on accuracy however this new version is spot on! Readings are identical to readings I get at a number of drug stores. The unit is sensitive to movement while in use so if you get aborted readings while using then you'll have to minimize movement.

      Perfect.

I bought this monitor with the expectation that it will record my data so I can share with my doctor, and keep a record anyway. It surely performs flawlessly and meets my expectation. I especially like the fact that the battery is not a rechargeable, because I don't have to wait for a recharge, and I don't have to worry about the long-term usability of the monitor if it had a dead non-replaceable rechargeable battery. AA's are everywhere, and they seem to last for a long time in the monitor. The Withings app talks to other health apps, including Tactio and Apple's own app. It also allows you to manually add any measurement (weight, BP or HR). I love this device!

      Great device

This is the easiest device I have ever used to take my pressure! Love that I can email my results to my doctor as well! Money well spent.

Not accurate on me: Dr. Grim

The Withings Arm diastolic readings are not significantly different from my own auscultatory readings (the gold standard). However I found that the higher the The Withings Arm diastolic readings are not significantly different from my own auscultatory readings (the gold standard). However I found that the higher the diastolic pressure the more the device under-reads the pressure. For example when I read 88 using the gold standard auscultatory method the device read from 80-100 an range of 20 mm Hg. This is not acceptable due to non-linearity of readings. I cannot recommend this device unless you health care team checks that it is accurate on you. FYI most offices do not know how to do this.

Short life and poor customer service

I got this device to monitor blood pressure response to treatment after a small stroke. It took a few tries to get the hang of it, but then it worked great, se I got this device to monitor blood pressure response to treatment after a small stroke. It took a few tries to get the hang of it, but then it worked great, several times a day, for a few weeks. Mind, you, it eats batteries for breakfast, but since the AAAs power a mechanical pump, this is no surprise. BUT then a few weeks later, it simply died. I tried the Withings email support (there is no option to speak to a human), and it was not only extremely slow but bordering on offensive, seemingly following the premise that even though I had it working well for weeks, I now suddenly forgot how to use it. After many days of exchanges, I still have zero resolution to my problem except that I am still doing it wrong - it can't possibly be that the product broke. Other comments: I bought it for measuring BP while I am ill. I also have a spinal injury, with associated limited mobility, and severe chronic pain. I did not buy an electronic athletic coach. Yet I get weekly scathing "reports" from Withings about how I am "failing to reach goals" that they set, not I, for not exercising enough. I do not need that!
