Studio Wireless Over-Ear Headphones - Titanium

  • Overview

    The music moves with you

With the Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Wireless over-ear headphones the music on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod can truly roam free. The Bluetooth stays connected up to 30 feet away so you easily move about and keep the music going. Take calls, skip songs, and change the volume right from the headphone.

    Feel your music

The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music. Thanks to Beats' signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic, and R&B producers want you to feel.

    Put the world on mute

Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbors with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.

    What batteries?

The built-in rechargeable battery that lasts 12 hours when using wirelessly and 20 hours when you do decide to plug in—so you can be sure your vibe keeps going. With the Battery Fuel Gauge you can see at a glance how much juice is available. Plus, you can charge the new Studio via standard micro USB adapter almost anywhere.

    Lighter, stronger, and more comfortable

When Beats re-imagined these legendary headphones, they designed it like a beautiful sports car and made disciplined choices. They streamlined the new Beats Studio with fast curves, smooth surfaces, and no visible screws. It now weighs less than the original and has a lighter, stronger, and more comfortable headband. The ear cups are softer and there's an ergonomic bellow to create a flexible, custom fit for every head shape, so you can keep your music all to yourself.

      Awesome

Very nice build, punchy but very clean sound, extremely light and very, very comfortable. Battery power is excellent with a quick charge. Meter light for battery life and charge status, lean profile (not nearly as wide as the old studios)... did I say light? this is my second set of bluetooth headphones. I would never go without wireless. Combine these with the BlueBuds for worrking out and you are in heaven for music. I own Bose, Harmon Kardan NCs and others... These are most definitely the best overall headphones. Definitely a high quality product if you can stomach the price.

      Great Headphones

I purchased these last week and am extremely happy with them. The only negative comment I can make is with regard to the noise cancelling. I own a pair of Bos I purchased these last week and am extremely happy with them. The only negative comment I can make is with regard to the noise cancelling. I own a pair of Bose QC3 and there is no comparison. The Bose are much better at blocking out ambient noise. Other than that, the sound is great, not too much bass. They are comfortable, don't feel like they are going to fall off and extremely easy to pair. I also own a pair of in-ear wireless headphones, Jabra Sport Pulse, which cut out frequently if my phone is covered by a piece of clothing or in a backpack and I have not had any issues with the Beats. I have a feeling that the negative reviews on here are either "lemons" or counterfeit headphones because I have not experienced any of the issues that were listed. If you are looking for some good sounding, comfortable and long lasting (battery life) wireless headphones, look no further.

The problem is that when I change songs, change playlists, move to another song within a playlist, it loses its BT connection and the headphones have to be rebooted. For $400 I should not have to reboot constantly. Unfortunately, this fault makes these great headphones utter rubbish.

That said, these are much improved over the earlier versions that were essentially just all bass. They still emphasize bass, but they also push the highs, and mids aren't as muddy as before (although still under-represented). It makes for a pretty enjoyable sound (in my opinion, and I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination) for most of the types of music I listen to (electronic/dance, some heavy rock/metal, a little hip-hop/rap, and some alternative). The noise cancelling is not as good as Bose' implementation, but I understand they are different implementations. The Bose is fantastic, but it does cause some pressure changes on the ears that may annoy some people (I can usually adjust to this in a few seconds, but I do feel it when i first turn those on). These do not have the same issue (at least that I can perceive). If you primarily want noise cancelling for plane travel, etc., then you might be better served by the Bose QC25. But these sound really good to my ears, and I like that they are "louder" than the Bose. Cons are price (I bought mine on sale and think that MSRP is too high), requires internal battery to have a charge to work at all, and for those that care, not a true reference sound. Pros are great sound for most of my types of music, decent noise cancelling, wireless works very well, volume/start/stop/skip controls on ear cups when in wireless, and very comfortable to wear for extended periods.
