    Disappointing

First, the keyboard does not look like an "Apple" product, and since it's made by Logitech that is not surprising. It's a bit clunky, and it's made of plastic instead of aluminum. It's big. The keyboard that came with my new iMac was too small (really want a number pad), and the Logitech, with the addition of the solar strip along the top, is pretty big. What finalized my decision to return it, however, is that there is a USB receiver that needs to be plugged into one of the four USB ports on the back of the computer. I don't always have enough USB ports as it is, and giving up one to a device I already had reservations about make it easy to box it back up and send it away. I think I'll try typing numbers without the number pad and see how that goes for a while.

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS KEYBOARD!!!!!

If I could give this thing ZERO stars I would. On my first order the keyboard had bubbles in the solar panels and I thought thats why it wouldn't charge.
After receiving the replacement keyboard from Apple I realized that this model keyboard is just trash. It wouldn't charge at all or type unless I had a flashlight on top of the solar panels. It also didn't hold a charge for more than a few hours.
Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

    Finally!

Finally, a wireless keyboard with a 10 key! Why Apple didn't come up with this I don't know. The best part is that the little remote will work from usb hub, which frees up a usb connection on my iMac. The feel is good, and since it's solar, I don't have to worry about those limited life AA/AAA batteries.

    Don't buy

This is a horrible product, do not buy. Despite the "Solar App" saying that my keyboard is fully charged at 100%, my keyboard ONLY works when I hold it up to the light of the monitor. Kind of defeats the purpose, if you ask me. It also shipped with a huge bubble in the solar cell. I am very disappointed in the horrible quality and of course the obvious fact that it does not work at all. I just want a wireless keyboard with a number pad. I am sending this one back and getting a refund.

Logitech wireless solar keyboard for mac

After using the standard keyboard that comes with the mac desktop computers for over a decade now, I decided to try a different manufacturer this time. I had strayed in the past but always came back to a mac keyboard.
I absolutely love this Logitech one. It feels and sounds so much nicer than the mac chicklet one. I highly recommend the k750 Wireless Solar for mac keyboard. I have been using it for months now, and waited before writing the review to make sure i was happy with it after a few months.

This is a deeply flawed product

This is the wireless keyboard Apple should offer. The addition of a numeric keypad makes all the difference. Sadly, Logitech has gotten the keys right and everything else wrong. My Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750, fully charged, will not stay connected to its USB interface. It works for a few minutes and then . . . nothing. It's a huge pain where one sits.

What's more, the keyboard came with nothing but the usual legal disclaimers (in four or five languages) and no user information whatsoever. And online technical information, like how to make it work, is difficult to find a very sparse.

If you need a fully populated keyboard, by the Apple wired one. If you can get along without the numeric keypad, buy Apple's wireless one.

No way of knowing when Caps Lock is on

The only down side of this keyboard is that you CANNOT tell when the CAPS LOCK is on. Very annoying when entering 'passwords'

Can't you put a light on the key ???

    Love this keyboard...

I ordered this keyboard plus the magic trackpad. Best items so far.

I wanted this keyboard because it was solar. I know how many batteries I go through in a year. But also because it looks good. Pretty much feels like an Apple keyboard, just a little mushier on the keys but nothing that you cant get used to. Overall it feels great and it matches the trackpad beautifully.
I also like it that it has an on and off button. By turning the keyboard off at night it reminds me to turn off the trackpad too. That will extend the life of the trackpad batteries which I never turned of before.

I've already gone through two of these!

I accidentally ordered two of these keyboards instead of just the one I needed while purchasing a bunch of equipment for my home office. I decided I'd use the second one on another machine instead of returning it. After a couple of months, the command key on the first keyboard stopped working, which basically makes the keyboard useless. I replaced this keyboard with the second one (still in the box) and it worked for the better part of a year, but now I can't get it to turn on or be recognized by the computer (and I have looked into the troubleshooting options.) I like this product when it's working, but reliability seems to be a serious concern.

I also find the lack of a light on the caps lock key to be pretty annoying; I didn't realize how much I relied on that until it wasn't there.

    Logitech K750

Got this keyboard today and wow I am really impressed with the quality. I love the fact that it has the 10key on it, but my favorite is that it looks almost exactly identical to the wired Apple Keyboard with the 10 key. I also like that I won't be constantly changing the batteries in this keyboard since it charges itself via the solar panels on the keyboard. Also loved the fact that the receiver was able to be programmed with the existing mouse so I don't need to occupy an additional usb port.

    Love My Keyboard- BUT?

I absolutely love the keyboard with one exception; the letters rub off with use over a period of time. At first it was only one, but now there are several and it is becoming an issue. It is missing the C, V, N and M on the bottom row and some others across the keyboard. It is fantastic that you never have to change the batteries and I like the way the keys feel. I am hoping they have a different method of marking the keys, since I would like to purchase another one to replace the one I have. Has anyone else had this problem?

Great Wireless Keyboard with Numeric Keypad

Love this keyboard. I've been waiting years for Apple to offer a wireless keyboard with a numeric keypad but for some unknown stubborn reason they refuse to. They still only offer a wired keyboard which clutters the desk, or a separate ten key which I don't want and which has lousy ratings. I've delayed iMac purchases because they didn't offer one until I saw the Logitech. i can't figure out why, perhaps someone can tell me ..... I guess they don't want to sell computers to finance/accounting or other people who process numbers.

This keyboard is great. It's solar powered (yes, I did say solar powered) which is one up on Apple's wireless keyboards. The only issues I've had are: 1) It stopped working for some reason, but I simply turned in on and off and it worked perfectly again; and 2) My room is very dark and so occasionally I need to take my keyboard out of the room and put it it the sun. It's well worth that little bit of trouble since I don't have to unplug any wires *Tou-che Apple".

Too bad Apple doesn't offer a "no keyboard" option since they are too big for paperweights.

    Pretty Good

I've been using this product now for two weeks since my wired Apple keyboard succumbed to my cat chewing the cord. Thus so far seem a good product although.....there are no USB ports on this keyboard when there were two on the full Apple board, and the little support legs seem pretty weak but so far so good. No light on the caps lock is also a minor pain. We'll see how it goes! I downloaded the little "Solar App" and it is informative about battery life and light for charging. My keyboard receives no direct sunlight.

Awesome product but apparently no longer supported

I bought this product in January of this year (2014). It worked great for about two months, and then it abruptly ceased being recognized by my computer. My boyfriend tried it recently with his Mac; he was able to get it to be recognized once and then never again. It is probably better to buy the newer version of this product, the K760, which appears to have bluetooth and is likely more compatible with troubleshooting.

    aok

Like this and the price was right. Like wireless because I find wires annoying.never had a problem with the solar power always worked. I admit I'm tough on keyboards and mice. And this took a beating from me and still worked. Wish it had usb ports like the apple keyboard. plus I need only one usb port with my mouse and keyboard.

    Keyboard Rocks

I have owned this keyboard for a while now...and it does not disappoint! If you are into the "clicks of a nice keyboard" this is the one for you. LOVE this product. And I am picky with my Apple accessories. You won't be disappointed. I didn't like the keyboard that came with my iMac (sorry Apple). I love this one
