Great toy for learning how to fly Multi-Rotors.

I've had a great time flying the AR Drone. It's a fun toy that is great for teaching people the basics of flying Multi-Rotor RC Vehicles. The whole unit is quite lightweight and made mostly of foam which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for and how many times you plan on crashing it.
It was awkward at times trying to control it with the Phone Tilting option (tilt the phone forward, the Drone moves forward etc). The analog control is much better and you can customize the speed of each axis.
The camera's are pretty cool, especially being able to switch between the forward facing camera and the downward facing camera. Don't expect pro quality from them.
Like I said, great toy, an expensive toy, but still pretty cool.

    This is awesome.

I fly this thing all the time and have been able to get some incredible video. I am disabled but can use my hand enough to fly this drone better than most people. The people who have problem probably didn't read the directions, flew really erratically, or can't use an iPhone in the first place.
