    Typical Bose Sound!

    • Written by from La Verne

Not my first bose product but it is my first soundlink and it sounds way bigger than it is! Deep powerful bass and crisp highs... My only complaint would be that it can't be charged using USB.. It would be nice to not have to use the charging brick and 110 volts when I'm traveling in my truck or on my motorcycle. It is supposed to last 14 hrs on a charge, I haven't tested that yet. Love it! Should fit nicely into a small backpack or picnic basket:)

    The BOSE Soundlink 3.0

    • Written by from ADDISON LAKE MANOR

I was a little skeptical at first as to how such a small speaker could deliver great sound. But trust me, this speaker surely is big on sound. With this speaker you surely can FEEL the music and I mean it, to feel the rich bass with the speaker held in your hands is another thing all together. Great build quality and delivers great battery life too over its predecessor. Definitely worth the 300$ asking price.

    Great Sound!

    • Written by from Surrey

I saw and heard the SoundLink III and was so impressed I bought it, I really did not have any defined purpose in mind. Got it home, set it up (that took about 3 seconds, set-up is really easy) and started listening ... AMAZING!!!

Had a guest over and they too were amazed at the "Big Sound"!!

So, after not really knowing if I would use this or not, I find the SoundLinkIII is ALWAYS ON!! Great sound, very easy to use and I can now target my tunes to exactly where I am.

    Give it a try!

Bashed Bose like I did Apple for years and years until I bought a truck equipped w/ Bose.....believer ever since that day and the sound link is no exception. I have the first gen for 3+ yrs now and still rocks like I first took it out of the box. Wise $300 investment for anyone.

    Absolutely unbelievable!

    • Written by from Boca Raton

This speaker has exceeded my expectations. I did not think that it would be loud enough at loud places like the beach, but it was heard by most of the people on the beach. LOL! Great product!! Definitely worth the money!

Only thing I would like to see in future versions is built in airplay, track skip buttons, USB port and charging dock.

I have the Sound Link III, the Bose Sound Wave 3 and The Bose Mini. All fantastic products and worth it. Until 6 months ago I avoided getting them as I felt they were expensive but once I got one..........I have three products so far...More to come.......

What I have come to expect from Bose, great dynamic sound with a great range and the compact size is very nice for portability and a 14 hour battery! I just wish that the 2 contact points on the bottom meant that it was an inductive charging unit like its first model. Also it would be nice if they included the remote with the speaker for the $300 price tag!

When it comes to high quality sound from a small unit, no one Beats Bose.

    • Written by from Fishers

The Bose Soundlink III is about the best sound you are going to get out of Bluetooth wireless and out of a box the size of a nice book. The sound fills an average size room, at a decent volume. The battery life is generous, and the style and look is clean and conservative. Links up great to my iPhone 6, iPad mini, and MacBook Air. As a buyer of several Bose products including Lifestyle home theater products, headphones, ear buds and several others, I've come to learn that even when you have problems or need parts or help, no one Beats Bose. Their customer service is top notch. I keep buying because the products sound great, durable, and they stand by their products.

Really nice sound- but too much base for me

    • Written by from Toronto

I also have Bose companion 2 speakers and I am somewhat familiar with Bose products. The SoundLink 3 has really great sound but it has more base than my friends SoundLink 2 speaker and it can be corrected to suit your personal tastes by adjusting the equalizer in the iPhone settings. The unit is somewhat heavy and needs a handle or case to transport it. I had to carry it like a football as I was concerned about dropping it. The bottom of the SoundLink 3 has 2 holes at either end of the unit and a connector (i'm guessing)for an additional battery or satellite speaker for stereo sound. I think the holes my be used to fit into a stand to elevate the unit off a table for better sound. A call to a Bose sales rep had no idea what the holes or the connector were for. The unit is not cheap but as the saying goes- you get what you pay for. Overall I would recommend the SoundLink 3 highly as the Bose build quality is usually superb and it has the best sound of all the bluetooth speakers out there according to the reviews i've seen.

    Average sound quality

I am trying to find a replacement for my Beats XL which is under recall. I don't have a great ear for sound, but I find bad sound very fatiguing. I have been very satisfied with the Beats XL and have inexpensive Bose soeakers wired to my computer. The Bose Bluetooth III speaker seems to miss the sound range I get from the Beats XL. It is not as full sounding and is occasionally a little tinny. It's being sent back. It may be fine for most pop music.

Bose is my favourite, it's gives you the true sound. I usually use it for classic musics and for the movies over my TV outdoor and even in the beach. Sound are clean the base are excellent, it is a small speaker and gives you all that.

    Happy customer

I just picked up my Soundlink III from my Apple Store which is a replacement for the bulky non-mobile Sound Dock II. I wanted mobility so got the III but was crossing my fingers that the sound quality of the III would at least equal the Dock II. In my opinion it is MUCH better. I've played a variety of music from soft jazz to Coldplay and U2 and I am please with the sound output and quality. Very pleased with my purchase.

    Bose Speaker III

    • Written by from wyoming

I Bought this speaker along with the Bose Mini and this is my opinion . The speaker III has I little more volume to fill the room BUT the bass distorts! hands down the mini is a lot more impressive for the size . I am a little disappointed with Bose Speaker III for the extra money I think they went backwards and sent it back and kept the mini . every ones ears are different of corse but I like my bass and sound quality and if the bass distorts it turns me right off the speaker .

    Totally Disappointed

    • Written by from Massena

I got my speaker in the mail today and was hotly anticipating getting it out the box! Well, I sat down on deck, turned on some music through my iPhone, and knew in about 2 minutes that this speaker wasn't for me. I had read all the reviews raving about how high the volume went and how clear the sound was, and that there was even good bass response. Needless to say I was thoroughly disappointed in the output of this speaker. I felt it wasn't very loud at all, even when turned up to the highest level and distorted pretty quickly. I got it today and for $300 dollars, I'll be returning it tomorrow. It's just not worth keeping. Where's the Beats Pill XL? I knew I should have bought that when I saw it in Canada a few weeks ago. That speaker sounded great, in the store anyway.
