    Worst earphones I've ever used

    • Written by from Mecosta

I have owned countless pairs of earphones; Skull Candy, Panasonic, you name it. I have never had a problem with getting any of these to fit in my ears. Most earphones come with rubber pieces that insert into your ears, and replacement pieces if the regular pieces are too big. I have never once used the replacements. My point is that it is not hard for me to find earphones that properly fit my ears. And yet these will absolutely not stay in place. I move my head slightly, they fall out. I try to walk with them in, they fall out. The fact that something so low in quality would cost $30 is absolutely ridiculous. I have purchased far better earphones for around $10. I am very glad that I got these for free and did not buy them. Don't waste your money. It truly confuses me that a million dollar company can't make a pair of decent earphones.

    The Worst

    • Written by from Barrie

Got these with my phone and they were really nice until both buds broke, not abused and in perfect condition. So I bought another pair and the right earbud cut out, again in the most perfect condition ever, no cut wires or anything. Not Worth It!!!

Far to large and painful to wear - ZERO STARS

    • Written by from Greater london

Received these 'universal fits all' earphones with my IPhone 6 but found them to be way too large to wear. They were very painful to put in and irritated my poor ears and then kept on falling out, which at times was a bit of a relief for me.

Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with this product & the after sales service and therefore I can not recommend this item. If you have very small ear holes then please avoid this product.

    Ok but........

    • Written by from Rajkot

The earpods are not that good, they do not last, the soung quality is very good but the body is too very weak, i think that Apple should do something so that we can rely on it, Apple creates premium products, but the earpods are not at all premium, sound quality is better than its competitors, but its competitors create more long lasting earpods.

    Thank you Apple

    Don't last

    • Written by from Powder Springs

I've bought two pairs of these along with two apple charger cables. Neither of them lasted me more than six months. I even had to replace it on my macbook charger after it overheated and burned. I chose to go with other cables from apple approved companies because the quality of the rubber around the cables that apple uses is so bad. Those headphones and cables have lasted me for well over a few years. Apple should make better quality charging cables.

    Poorly Made

    • Written by from Burnaby

These are poorly made. Only lasted 6 months. Wires already disconnected from pin. Older version are still working after 5 years. Buy any other brand and save money. Not even worth 1 star.

    Worst product in apple line-up

    • Written by from Groves

I simply cant fathom that Apple being such an awesome design firm sells these badly designed headphone. The design is terrible. How do they expect these to stay in anyone ears is beyond me. The shape is weird, and the surface is so smooth that there is almost no friction to keep them in your ear. They keep sliding off every minute. The cord is also terribly designed. First, it is really short, so if you don't have a front shirt pocket, you have to hold it. No option of putting it in your jeans pocket because it wont reach. Second the mic is located specifically such that it makes it difficult for the person on the other end to hear anything. Most times I have to put the mic almost in my mouth for the other person to hear what I am saying clearly. Lastly, the mic keeps getting stuck in my shirt collar keeps pulling the ear piece out of my ear. APPLE what happened to ease of use?
Please make something that is wireless & stays in your ear.

    Bad design

    • Written by from Raleigh

I've been disappointed with the quality of the earbuds that Apple has given with the iPhone since the beginning. They are extremely uncomfortable, won't stay in my ears, especially when moving around, and the sound quality is barely passable. Basically, they're junk. Not a very good pairing with an otherwise glorious piece of hardware technology. The buds that came with my 6+ were no exception. Surely Apple can do better than this? And don't get me started on the problems with frayed chords at the base of each end -- both the earbuds AND the power chords. It's laughably embarrassing for the company's image. Not to mention, just plain shoddy workmanship and design.

    uncomfortable headset ever seen

    • Written by from Pathankot

The sound is great, but after about 15m the unforgiving hard plastic form begins to hurt. If you find yourself swapping out the default silicone earphone tips for the small size on other in-ear headphones, these EarPods might be too big for you.

    Too fragile

    • Written by from Riga

Although sound and fit is quite decent the whole assembly is really fragile. At first I noticed a crack on the middle of remote control, which you would push to pause music. Then after some time crack on both earpieces appeared. Considering that, these cracks appeared during normal everyday use I would say, that materials chosen aren't the best suiting ones. If I would have bought these separately, I would be quite disappointed.

This earphone came with my Iphone. Since the first time I used it I hated. It is too big for the ear, therefore it causes a lot of pain if you use for more than 5 minutes. Other fact about it is that the sound quality is horrible. Besides it is to big to fit into the ear the sound it emits is very low. I HATED IT. I prefer the old earphones apple had, they were way better than these ones. Don't be fool about the good reviews, this earphone is the WORSE one in the market.

    Too big for my ears

    • Written by from Santa Rosa

I can't wear these, they don't fit in my ears and constantly fall out. I loved the old version of this and wished that they carried it since it was smaller. My husband wears these and doesn't have a problem but he has much larger ears than me.

These headphone are the most uncomfortable headphones that have ever existed. EXtremmelllyyyyyyyyyy uncomfortable. DO NOT BUY. Yes the sound quality is very good, but what is the point of having headphones if you have to take them off after using them for 5 minutes. Dissatisfied.

Worst head/earphones I have ever had. Extrememly painful in the ear after only a few minutes. Falls out due to the weird shape. Weird sound quality - the sound is much deeper with heavy bass. If I use non-apple head/earphones my voice control/siri goes off automatically when I am trying to listen to music.

    Back to my generic earbuds

    • Written by from Dallas

I bought my first IPhone last week, downloaded my music on to it and was eager to go for a run using the earbuds that came with the phone. I couldn't really concentrate on the run, though, as the earbuds wouldn't stay in my ears. When I came home, I searched the packaging, sure that somehow I missed some silicon attachments. Nope. What a shame, because when I get them properly placed and don't move, I thought they sounded excellent. They are definitely not "one size fits all."

    Doesn't last 6 months....

    • Written by from Vancouver

I've bought at least 3 of these and twice they didn't even last 6 months. Unfortunate, because they fit my ears perfectly! Each set began to speed up, slow down, skip, activate suri, pause and play on its own. I know some people mentioned something about moisture, but I've been super careful with my earphones after my first pair crapped out. I think these are fine if you use them once in a while, but I use my earphones 5 days a week (at the very minimum) usually while commuting to and from work. After 3 tries with this, I'm on the lookout for new earphones.

Recently purchased iPhone 6 & the earbuds that Apple provided with it are very poor fit for my average ears! Agree with those who say they don't stay in. Sitting perfectly still they stay in but turn my head twice & one or the other falls out. Come on Apple who did you test these out on ?
