    Good and Bad

    • Written by from Santa ana

I like it because the size of your ear is fit but I dislike it because it very easy to break. I brought it on Jan but now June and it already not working. I have to spend more money to buy it.

    EarPods too large

    • Written by from Kent

Sound is superb !! However, the EarPods are too large and hurt me after wearing them for just a few minutes. Wish they had cushions on the EarPods and smaller sizes. I am a full-sized adult with smaller ear canals.

    I like it but...

    • Written by from Pelh

I liked them but they break on u with in 3 months or the month u get it..... its the left main speaker that breaks on u ... but the little speaker on the left works but its really hard to hear music with one hear faded but the other ear not faded. but when they did work it was a good experience, the bass kicked your ears but what I think broke it is the bass in dubstep music ... I have a app that makes the a lot stronger so I might of popped the left main speaker with the insane bass It said that it can withstand the bass on apple. I over all prefer headsets if u want bass but u want to just listen to music then get these ear pods

    THE TRUTH!

    • Written by from Kenilworth

I bought these after reading these great reviews and was excited to hear for myself.

Truth is they sound OK, just OK.. NO WHERE NEAR my Klipsch Image S4i.
People claiming they sound every bit as good are not really listening

As for the fit? They seemed to stay in place but it felt like they were gonna fall out.

I believe that part of the problem is they leak way too much of the outside noise. They also dont have the bass response people here are claiming probably due to the fact they just kind of barely rest in your ear.

I was disappointed but hey they are $29.99. I returned them same day. For me I'd rather spend a few more bucks than listen to these.

    Great sound, horrible comfort

    • Written by from Cullowhee

As a sound technician and a musician, audio quality is essential for me. These EarPods put out sound quality that rivals some of the top companies (SkullCandy, Beats, Sony, etc.). The one issue I have with these are the comfort. Recently I broke my usual SkullCandy headphones and have been left with these for my everyday listening. At first they are fine but the longer you wear them the worse they get.

So for those that are interested in purchasing these, they are great for small amount of time use and being able to talk without holding your iPhone; but if you are trying to find EarBuds for long term listening sessions (studying, leisure, etc.) might I suggest a full ear pair of headphones.

    Better fit, better sound.

    • Written by from Fortuna

They fit fine in my ears. Good sound for the price,(came with my iPod touch so not complaining) but the only problem I have with these is if they get scratched, they start to become gritty and uncomfortable to wear in your ears. The inside of my right ear is starting to get irritated and I think it broke some skin so you might want to reinforce them with rubber just like you did with the older ones ok hope this helps improve the product for next design!! I am a big fan of apple! c:

    Work great, but expiration date?

    • Written by from Miami

Don't get me wrong; the EarPods work great. They actually stay in your ear, and the sound quality is spot on. The only problem I have is that recently, the right EarPod blew. I mean, no sound comes out. I never got any water on them, I never stepped on them, I never sat on them, so I don;t know what the deal is. The left one works fine, but the right one has gone mute. This a recurring problem for anyone? Because it's really bugging me. :(

    They were OK.

    • Written by from Carp

The earpods were probably the best headphones I've ever used. The bass was good, and they were pretty clear to listen to music with. But they are not very durable. About a week ago the controller stopped working, than a few days later they just gave up. If you're interested in spending $40 to have headphones that will 8 months, be my guest. But I would not recommend them if you are looking for long term usage.

    They are good

    • Written by from mount laurel

The Apple earphones are good. They are not as comfortable as the could be. They also need some rubber or foam. The sound is good but they can use improvements.

    They sound great! But...

    • Written by from Concord

These do have a great sound quality and sit nicely in the ear... if you're sitting perfectly still. They fall out if you're walking, if you're moving, if you're lying down- forget it. They shift and become uncomfortable, or fall out completely.

Good sound, but doesn't fit my ears...

    • Written by from Woodbridge

I like the sound of these headphones, and the volume/mic adjuster is really convenient; however, like the old Apple headphones, they just don't fit my ears. The ear piece is a little too large for me, causing the headphones to slide out. They also hurt my ears. I wish Apple would provide some size options for their headphones because I want to like these.

    Error with volume button

    • Written by from Eagle Lake

I bought iPhone5 in September 2012. Up to now, everything is ok but my earphone went wrong when i went for running yesterday. I put it in and run, after about 3hrs the volume button went wrong. It automatically turned the volume down although i did nothing with the button. So terrible! Coz when i answer the coming call, it turns the volume down so that i cannot hear anything. I push the "+" button on the phone, then it automatically turns down again and again. Cannot do anything >_<

Better Sound, Less Stability in Ear

    • Written by from Lawrence

The sound is much better than the standard (older) headphones, but I have major problem with the headphones staying in my ear while walking. I noticed these headphones do not have a small "rubbery" band that the older versions have. This "band" provide some resistance to movement. This is only flaw I have with the headphones, but until it is fixed, I will have to use another brand.

Works well with my iphone5 and MacBook but not my ipad2

    • Written by from Basking Ridge

The plug won't stay in place of my ipad2. I had tried to turn it to tighten it but it kept coming loose. Hence the sound would not come out from the ear phone unless I kept pressing on it with my finger. But then it kept stopping my movie from playing.

Arggh!!! this is not for everyone's ears

    • Written by from Toronto

I really like the sound that comes from these ear pods. My biggest complaint here is that it does not fit into my ears at all. They keep falling out when I'm not even moving, so this is completely useless to me. If I try to push it into my ears then it freakin hurts.
It was such a bonus that it came with the phone but what good is it when you can't even use it.
Apple!!! You need to redesign these earpods. Maybe you needed to test it on more than 600 people.
