    Great with helmet

I very much like the new in-ear contour buds. Bass is better and sound is clear. Additionally, they work much better under a helmet.

Very Improved But Too Expensive To Purchase On Their Own

These 'EarPods' are very nice improvement over the past earphones that came with the iPhones and iPods. They were a pleasant surprise when I bought the iPhone 5. The bass is really good, at least there is bass this time compared with the last version. But they are too expensive if you want to buy the earphones themselves. I know a good brand from Sony that costs $9.99 that sound just as good and another that is about $25 from Skull Candy that sound better and block all outside noise. These 'EarPods' do not block all sound. They do not completely plug my ears like the Skull brand. Overall a good pair of earphones that are worthwhile to use. Quality was put into these earphones but durability is an unknown for me.

    unable to fix on ear.

It looks awesome but I couldn't fix it in the ear. I think, I need some video to understand how to fix it on my ear.

    Powerful Sound

Plain and simple, these headphones are great, in sound quality. However, I still feel as if they are going to fall out of my ear even after Apple's ear research and that insecurity is hard to overlook. Also, I know earbuds in general perform rather low for running. Either case, I tried them out to put them through a complete test anyway. They did better than I anticipated, but still failed in the long run/higher speeds (9.2 mph or 6:01 mile/min). Then the test of time. Here they did well, I was watching "What Dreams May Come", and for those that haven't seen it, it's not a short movie, and they were comfortable for about 75% of the movie. Till I laid on my back. While on my back the 'not so fixed in the ear' feeling returned. Unfortunately, thanks to this I began to adjust and readjust the earbuds. Honestly I think it was more my finger tinkering more than the actual buds that caused my ears to become irritated, but the fact remained, they didn't feel secure. Aside from all of this, I think these are great buds for the price, and if you are a public transport commuter/traveler. The size+case and sitting up right comfort make it ideal for those times you want to forget where you are.

Best piece of bare plastic I ever put in my ears.

Pretty impressed actually. These earphones are a significant improvement over the older style, and more comfortable despite the lack of cushioning band (which I've had wear off anyway). Not perfect, it takes adjustment in order to sit with them for more than an hour. But like the title says, for a bare piece of plastic, pretty nice.

Sound quality is pretty good. I think people need to understand, there is a -vast- difference between standard earphones (including Earpods) and noise-cancelling earphones. Noise-cancelling earphones rely heavily on creating a sealed chamber inside your own ear to produce that rich sound you get. Standard earphones have only their own casings for acoustic chambers, so with that in mind, the Earpods are actually quite remarkable, providing clarity and equal emphasis on all bands. The only thing I can complain about is that there's a certain 'tinny' sound that carries over from the old style.

Overall, for being included with devices, they're enjoyable enough to actually use on a regular basis. Probably an industry first.

    Much better

I have used the earpods for a week now and I have to say they are much better than the previous apple earphones. They fit perfectly, exellent sound quality. I surely recommend them to anyone who is thinking about buying earphones, for only 29euro they are perfect.

    pretty good :)

So i really like these EarPods. Apple did a great job and the sound is amazing! It doesn't leak like in the original headphones. The acoustics are fantastic and i am really impressed with the bass sound on them. The only bad thing is that i just bought them less then a month ago and one of the ears has a crack in them :( so not very durable.

    great earphones - TERRIBLE CASE

don't get me wrong - i LOVE the headphones, for the price - the are great. but why provide a case if its completely irritating to put back in???

i travel a lot and always put away my earphones in a case - i was actually excited that these new earpods came with their own - but unfortunately it takes a good couple minutes of finagling to squeeze them back in.

not the best design. not trying to be picky - but hey, if you're gonna provide a nice little case - make it so i can put it back in easily and efficiently.

The best thing about these earpods is that they are very comfortable, they fit right I love how they feel so good in your ear . Unlike the beats these ear pods don't fall of these ear pods fit perfect . Also the sound quality is very good. Best earphones I have ever used.

    Worth every penny

Absolutely worth every penny. I really don't think you can do better for $30. The only complaint I have is that the pause/play button's feedback isn't always correct: you can easily push light enough that it will click but not register anything. It's bad enough that if I try, I can do it almost every time. So...click hard: problem mostly solved.

Great sound quality, broke after 6 weeks!

I love these headphones, they're a great upgrade over the standard apple earbuds. Mine broke after 6 weeks. The remote started triggering play/pause by itself. Thankfully apple replaced them for me! I hope to enjoy this pair longer!

    What an improvement.

I still can't get this style earphone to stay in my ear. I prefer Apple's dual armature in ear design. However, if you can get this style to stay put, you'll be very happy. The sound quality is much improved from the old style. I also have several high end head sets by Ultimate Ears and Shure. The sound quality from this head set is very competitive. If they would stay in my ear, I would certainly use them.

Fits perfectly and delivers balanced sound quality

Good quality for the price. Fits perfectly in my ears and easy to take out if your are interrupted compared to in-ear headphone. Do not fall out while running and walking. You won't regret your buy.

Better than last version of apple headphones.

I previously owned the old headphones that came with the other iPhones. The good of those where that I had a bunch of them but they broke easily. These new headphones do seem that they will be way more durable. I am runner and these stay in my ears a lot better than the old ones. They sound a lot better, control is a lot more responsive, and looker way better. However, one flaw that I am experiencing is that they tend to hurt my ears after wearing them for like 20 minutes or so. The headphones are meant for one size fits most. Unfortunately, since they hurt my ears, then they don't fit me well. They are slightly too big. In my opinion, the best headphones with the same functions are the iMonsters from ibeats. Super comfortable and best sound quality.

    Good BUT bad

There are the best headphones I have except for 3 negative things.

A-the sound isn't as loud when turned all the way up like on the earbuds with mic and remote.
B-distorted sound when all the way up.
    C-needs louder sound!!!!!

    Worth it!

The new earpods are a great improvement over the previous one, especially the build quality and the new design.
Not the greatest out there, but for $30 - its worth every penny.

    Really good headphones

Great improvement compare to the old Apple headphone. Fit is MUCH more comfortable, does not hurt my ear anymore. I have not wear it for a super long time yet, but so far so good. Sound is also much better. Pretty good bass, sound clarity is pretty good. Overall much better in every way than the old one.

I still don't think it is as good as my Bose MIE2 headphone in sound quality. I think the Bose has a better, stronger bass. More detail in the sound and even better clarity and natural sound. But that is about a 120 bucks headphone, about 4x more in price. Overall this new earPods are very good! I have tried other in ear headphones in the 100 dollar range from Klipsch, Sennheiser, and Beats, and imo, these EarPods are better. Much better in comfort and better sounding. Most in-ear headphone, despite what reviews or others say, do not have good bass.

With these earPods, I don't feel like I am wearing a headphone when I wear it and that is a good thing. Only other one I feel as comfortable is my Bose MIE2 headphones.
