    Bad product

    Ready to ditch what once looked very nice . First week it looked just great ( blue leather) after a month the edges turned black and the Apple logo completely dissapeared , what happened to quality control ? Wish I could return this product and get my money back .Choose something else ...

    Worst product ever

    I purchased this case 3 days ago and today it was already damaged. With a careful usage i gave my new iPhone 5s and it's case, only with the rub of my pocket, the case got really ugly and it looks like I had it for years. I really don't recommend it to anyone and I hope that apple takes them away of their catalogues.

    I really really REALLY want to love this case! i wanted the leather look and was looking for the case to age a little to be able to have that rough or old leather look that just looks super classy. Instead after 2 days of use the corners turned black and the leather dye started to come off. the case was never in my jean pockets or anything and i tried to take care of it as much as possible. Super disappointed :( I went to the apple store to see if they knew how to take care of the product to clean it and further protect it to avoid the black edges but all they said was "well there is nothing we can do. We don't know why is like this but i guess you can bring the box and return it if you want".

    APPLE should have informed the customer of this issue or "side effect" so customer know what they are getting into. also maybe be a little more informed about it at the stored wouldn't harm. Still love Apple products but ill stick to the electronics and that's it.To be a company that is known for their SUPERIOR DIFFERENCE MAKING PRODUCTS this time they fell way short.

    Beautiful, then quickly a disappointment

    This brown leather case at first looked great and complimented the slate gray iPhone 5s beautifully. But, after a couple of months of carrying in my front pocket the brown leather looks dirty and dingy. The edges are a dreadful dark color. I have not found a good way to clean it. My previous Belkin leather case I used on my 4 for four years still looks as good as the day I bought it. I am so disappointed in this case and will take it back to an Apple store to try to get a refund.

    Terrible Case!

    I bought the (RED), it really looks nice, but after 1 week the leather is so dirty. Save your money and get another case.

    Great Feel, Poor Durability

    I bought the saddle brown case in October and loved the look and feel. I don't mind the tight fit like some of the reviewers, however, the material gets very dirty in a short period of time. For this price, I would expect the case to be able to last longer. My guess is the black case is the best option with leather.

    It is clear Apple is not doing a lot of basic testing on their accessories which is really disappointing. I will go back to the more reliable aftermarket cases.

    dont buy the brown one

    after about a month the edges and sides are becoming black and it will not come off. I have tried water, soap, laundry soap, leather cleaner, rubbing alcohol etc...... so, unless you like the 'used' look do not buy this in brown

    Horrible Case

    I had this case for a day when i noticed darkening around the edges. the leather started peeling and when i dropped my phone the case falls off breaking the screen of my brand new iPhone 5s not to mention the screen replacement is about $300

    Avoid this case

    This case looks nice all for about a week, then because of the leather, it starts to Tarnish in a way.
    Don't waste 40 bucks on this.

    Take your 40$, go to a tannery, and get 12 of them.

    Wears poorly, lightning adapter doesn't fit.

    I've now had the brown case for ~6 weeks and can honestly say that while the fit of the case is great, it wears EXTREMELY poorly. From the first day I had the case, the leather started darkening on all the edges. It's not dirty, but it looks absolutely AWFUL. Not to mention, if you drop your phone on rug, it can actually peel back some of the leather from the edges.

    Also, Apple's own 30-pin to Lightning Adapter (the one with the cable), doesn't fit the lightning port cutout on the case, and actually 'clips' the leather. So disappointing.

    I'm honestly shocked that Apple let such a mediocre product go to market. :(

    I never expect that apple is making this kind of quality product. i buy brown colour ,in a minute leather is coming off from corners even of normal use.

    Why not buy??
    1) Leather quality not up to mark and can come off with normal use
    2) Get dirty easily and not able to clean at home without professional leather cleaner products.
    3) Too expensive.
    People are giving good review on first use experences but latter the experence with product is too bad

    Please Apple u must review your quality control before lauching a new product as we have great expection from you and ur brand is our part of family

    Please stop selling for this product.

    Is this Leather?

    I bought the Product (RED) version of this case and after having it for about a week, it looks like i have had it for a year. It was discolored around the corners within 48 hours. Just trying to put the case on I tore off a chunk of the side with my fingernail. Leather shouldn't tear like that. Then when I tried to remove it after a few days, the bottom part by the lightning plug snapped in half. Leather shouldn't snap in half either. Awful product all around, I would waste your money.

    I used it for a day. And I can already see it turn dirty. So I decide to take it off ans the case cracked near the lighting connector. This is the worst product I have wasted my money on. 45 dollars and have it break on you less than 24 hours.

    iPhone face cracked - this offers very little protection

    Buyer beware!

    I have had iPhones since the 3G came out and have never cracked the face. After only a couple weeks or so of having this case, the phone took a small tumble and the phone cracked. Such a bummer!

    I have had iPhones for a long time and had so many drops, I have lost count. This case didn't hold the phone in, so when it fell, the edge hit the floor and the screen cracked. Truly, this case does not provide protection.

    I have this case in brown and have been using it for about a month now. The edges are totally worn down and it looks filthy. Super annoying that the headphone jack cannot be accessed with the case on. Such a poor design. The quality is really not there. Overpriced and poorly thought out.

    Rip Off!! Very bad cover for the price

    This looked good just for a week. I use the phone very delicately. Just by the end of first week the leather turned black with all kinds of marks and it looks like a piece of junk. Please do not buy it.

    Looks bad after only a few weeks

    I hate to make a negative review, because I LOVE APPLE, but this case is not up to normal apple standards. I purchased this case several weeks ago at the Apple Store. I originally loved the case, and the feel of it against the 5S was perfect. However, after only about 2 weeks, the case started to look very worn. The sides started to "rub off", and the color has faded immensely. In addition, the area where you plug the phone in, broke. I have never experienced case issues like this before, and after only 2 weeks, I really regret the purchase. I am very good with my phone, never have any chips, repairs, etc, and my cases always look new, but this one is another story, ugh! Save your money, don't purchase.

    I purchased brown case for my white iphone and it looked just great initially. It fits phone really nice. But only after a couple of days, the case began to lose it's color. Then, dark scuffs have appeared. Now, only after three weeks after purchase it looks just horrible, as if I was using it for years! Just incredible, how apple managed to get this thing to wear off so quickly. Very disappointed.
