Included Cybersecurity Training teaches you tips and techniques to make your online experience safer through a series of online educational modules.

Add layers of security to your Mac

Protect your Mac against malware, as well as Windows- and Linux-targeted threats. Stay clear of all types of malicious code, including viruses, worms, and spyware.

Keep your private data safe from identity theft

Stop hackers from misusing your passwords and banking details. Enjoy safer connections, stay invisible on public Wi-Fi networks and prevent your private data from being copied to unauthorized flash drives.

    ESET Social Media Scanner

Extend your security to Facebook and Twitter. The app’s Security Center informs you which aspects of your private information are visible to the public and provides direct links to tune up your social media security profile.

ESET's Parental Control gives you the power to show kids only the good side of the Internet and relieves your worries about them being exposed to potentially offensive content. You can block more than 20 website categories and manually add additional websites to the blacklist if required.

Keep the full power of your Mac

Leaving more power for programs you use daily, ESET Cyber Security lets you work, play, and browse the Internet without slowdowns. Stay unplugged and online longer with battery-saving mode, and enjoy gaming without distracting pop-ups.

    Customize to fit your needs

Take advantage of the familiar streamlined interface and get powerful protection with default settings. Intuitive dashboard displays let you find the settings you need and easily set up and run scans. No Problems

I have been using this software for over a year now on my Mac Book Pro and have had no issues. It has navigated the transition to Yosemite with no problem.

Extremely comprehensive and fairly easy to use.

I'm very happy to inform I couldn't help but laugh as a previous review stated that this product "would be too difficult for the typical Mac user...". Uh, what? I'm very happy to inform anyone who is interested in an extremely thorough and comprehensive detection engine, this is one of the products you should investigate. There are independent companies who review Malware protection such as AV-Test.Org and AV-Comparatives.org. These are the two which are well known and respected. They test these products and provide you the "typical Mac user" with their findings. While Eset isn't the only one it is always in the top 5 along with Kaspersky, Bitdefender etc. While this is mostly plug and play there is very little if any configuration. There is no product which will provide you 100% protection other than using your head and not downloading products from an unknown site. You must use your head. And the myth that Mac's are not vulnerable is just that, a myth. There are free products which will provide a nice layer of protection however, you need to review the above mentioned sites to find them. Just an example, the mentioned testing sites found that Clamxav had only a 37% detection rate. Eset was 99.7%. This is well worth the money as it will provide you the protection that you need to protect your quality machine. Maybe Eset isn't for you, but do yourself a favor and check out one that is.

It got worse until it started doing it a couple of times a day. The ESET customer service group are horrible. Blamed the issue on a variety of things that had nothing to do with their software. So after days of troubleshooting, I uninstalled the ESET software, and the performance problems went away. Reinstalled the software and within 2 days it started again. I uninstalled the software again and have not had the performance problems since. Booooooo apple for keeping this software and promoting it on your site.

ESTS Software will not open (no longer working) 2. Original CD will not stay in the CD Drive -- Drive automatically ejects CD 3. Both USB ports on muy Macbook Pro 13 inch (2011) will NOT read ANY device including my new 3TB Passport for MAC that I use for backup (works fine on my Mac Pro desktop) -- also will not accept ANY other device, i.e. thumb drive, etc. 4. Feedback from ESTS was a long set of instructions for Solution 1 and if that does not work, tthey have a Solution 2 5. All downloads for N. America were not available. 6. Not Good Enough EST Support

Best security software I've ever used on any platform.

If you're scared that it's hard to configure or use, don't be. It has some basic settings that you can use for pre-configuration to get you off and running. I will say that it can be intimidating sometimes if you have warnings about processes running the in the background that trigger an alarm out of no where. And thanks to iCloud services, those will appear. ESET will tell you what the process is, so if you're not sure just type it into Google to find out. Everything that triggered for me was legitimate. It also runs VERY smoothly and you truly don't even know it's there. I'm on an 8 year old 2.4Ghz Core2Duo (albeit with an SSD I did install), and as I type this I have 2 In-depth scans running on my internal and external drives, along with Safari, iTunes, Mail, and a live Time Machine backup with ZERO impact and only 60% CPU Utilization. Only problem will be on old IMAP accounts with archived emails. Mail can crash if ESET kills old infected messages, and then they keep re-syncing back in. I had to scrub my decade-old Gmail account via the web first. Then I just let ESET fire back up and quarantine missed items. It does warn you about live mail scans though, and this is why. But I doubt all but a handful of users will experience this. Bottom Line: You need this software, and anyone can install and configure it.
