can the iphone 4 be updated to the IOS 7 when it comes out?

  • Yes you can, but you might want to be careful as some people reports this new iOS drains more power on iPhone 4.

    Yes, I have updated an iPhone 4 8 Gb (Verizon) to iOS 7 and it works beautifully. Still no Siri though and you cannot take advantage of many of the new iOS 7 features, but all of the new interface changes are there and they work great! Also, it's not as slow as I thought it would be - I have to say I'm impressed. It brought some new life back into my wife's 3 year old iPhone :)

  • Yes it will be updated with iOS 7 however there will be features you won't be able to use.
    Like AirDrop.

    That can only be used on the iPhone 5, 5C and 5S
