Acme Made cases are my favorite!

I received the Acme Made Skinny Book several months ago and liked it so much that I immediately got one for my iPad Mini. There were a few things about the Ski I received the Acme Made Skinny Book several months ago and liked it so much that I immediately got one for my iPad Mini. There were a few things about the Skinny Book that made the case a little bit strange so Acme Made went to the drawing board again and made the Ergo Book. The materials they are using are really nice! I love the slick feel of the outside of the case. It seems like some sort of fancy vinyl. It has a matte finish and doesn't show fingerprints, though it seems like it might when you first see it. The inside material is a soft chamois cloth type of material that will totally protect the iPad from scratches on the screen and the back. The cover has three creases in it to allow it to be folded into a triangle like the smart cover and there are magnets that keep that fold in place so you don't have to worry about it collapsing when you have your iPad propped up with the cover stand. The magnets also activate the wake/sleep function in the iPad and keep the cover closed tightly on the iPad. The plastic tray part that grips the iPad seems very strong and it holds the iPad tightly without being bulky. The chamois material is on the inside of that tray so the iPad won't get scratched. The tray rotates 90 degrees each way to allow the iPad to be used in portrait mode. There is a nice satisfying click when you rotate the tray so it feels very stable. I hate using some cases and not being totally confident that they won't fall over-no worries with the Ergo Book. I was so happy with this new model that I replaced my Skinny Book on my iPad Mini with an Ergo Book! I think they also dropped the price with this model-the skinny book was much more expensive. I am happy to see that Acme Made listened to customer feedback on the Skinny Book and came out with something much more awesome than similar products on the market. I guess I am officially an Acme Made fan!

      The price SHOULD be lower.

Like others, I did my research and did comparisons between cases. I thought that this one was the best. I didn't even have it for a year, when the case broke in Like others, I did my research and did comparisons between cases. I thought that this one was the best. I didn't even have it for a year, when the case broke in two, just using it normally. I wish I could say that I dropped it a couple of times and then it broke, but I didn't. Under every day use/ wear and tear, it should last more than 6 months!! If the price was lower by half, I could understand it....for $65 you should get at least a couple years out of it. Signed, DISSAPOINTED!
