    Stream music with AirPlay.

AirPlay takes the music from the iTunes library on your computer or iOS device and sends it wirelessly to any connected stereo or speakers in your home (audio cable sold separately). Print wirelessly from any room.

On the back of AirPort Express is a USB port that’s made for your printer. Just plug it in and instantly it’s like having a printer in every room. And since AirPort Express works with Mac and PC, everyone in the house can take advantage of one centrally available printer.

AirPort Express is compatible with devices using the 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n specifications. So no matter what Wi-Fi device you’re using, it will work with AirPort Express. AirPort Express also features a built-in firewall to protect your network from malicious Internet attacks. The firewall is automatically turned on, so you don’t have to do a thing.

      Great Wireless Extender

Had Airport Extreme Base Station with 2 airport expresses set up to extend wireless networks to corners of house with weak signals. Not really totally happy Had Airport Extreme Base Station with 2 airport expresses set up to extend wireless networks to corners of house with weak signals. Not really totally happy with old airport express's performance so I thought I would try new new Airport Express. All I can say is wow. Positioned new express between area where the old two expresses were. Now my speed in either of the corners of the house where the old airport express's were has nearly doubled. Best $100 I have spent for awhile. Because of form factor, also looks cool sitting on table. This new express basically replaced the two older airports and increases download speed. Whats not to like? Highly recommend if planning on using it to extend wireless network.

I simply ran his cable into the WAN port and hooked an old Ethernet CAble I had out the LAN to his machine, nothing changed for him, but his house now has password protected WIFI for his guests to use during visits. Used my MAC Book Pro to set it up, took all of 3 minutes, couldn't have been easier. Fast, Simple and Cheap!

Only wished I could add a USB networked flash drive from the USB port.

The worst problem is that I can't find a way to resolve this...I guess I have to throw away two airport express, and I'm not happy about it since they cost a lot of money!

Not sure why there's so many bad reviews.

I have my MacBook, iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple TV all hooked up to it and it's very fast and reliable. The range could be a little better, but this is the base model, I'm sure the Time Capsule will be better, which I plan on getting as well.

Simple elegant solution to wifi range issues

However, I couldn't get a decent signal in my family room at the other end of our house due to appliance interference and construction obstacles. I learned about Airport Express and purchased today. I simply plugged in the Express in my family room opposite the TV, waited a few seconds for my AirPort Extreme to recognize it and bam! We now could receive a strong signal to our TV. Works perfectly and as described.
