    not that great

Takes quite a bit of getting used to it when typing and if you type fast and hard, sometimes it flies right off the keys. The biggest annoyance is that when it gets dirty it also transfers A LOT of that dirt on to the screen when you close the laptop.
I've used it for a few days and then realized that it's not really all that useful... It's much better typing without it. Getting a cleaning kit and taking good care of your laptop it's probably a better solution.

    Wow

I am even more impressed with this product in person than I was reading the great reviews and seeing the youtube videos on it.

I miss the smooth cool touch of the silver keys and how the beveled shape cradled your fingertips. I dislike the tactile quality of the black keys, how my finger oils leave their mark, and how my fingers don't glide across the surface. Since there are huge gaps between the keys I worried about dust. All of this led me to purchase a moshi clearguard.

It fell into place so so easily. I had a narrow tool on hand for pressing it into the grooves but it was completely unnecessary. I do see what people mean about the mold being slightly too large for the function keys at the top but it is hardly noticeable and hasn't caused me any problems while typing.

Right away I loved the feel of the clearguard OVER the feel of the naked keys. There is less friction so my fingers glide easier. Do note that the clearguard turns your matt keys into semi-glossy keys. If you have an overhead light you will notice a reflection. This doesn't bother me at all since the backlit keys overpower any glare that may make reading the keys difficult.

It's true, you can barely see this thing on. I can't believe it. Wow, I love it so much. The temperature hasn't been affected at all. I am typing at my normal speed and this thing has not shifted. That's what I was really worried about. I am even lying down with my knees bent up so my keyboard is at an extreme angle and it isn't going anywhere. I am now rubbing my hands up and down and across, still not going anywhere.

I am SO happy. 6 Stars for this product.

Is there a keyboard on your computer?

    Moshi protector :

    Pros
Does not pick up a lot of dirt or lint.
    Thin and barely visible.
    Does not interfere with typing
No can really tell you have it.
Does not leave any marks on the screen.

    Cons
    Could be a little cheaper
    Nothing else

I recently purchased a Zcover and I can tell youthat cover attracts dirt, lint, and any other small particles. The Zcover is hard to type on and warped after a 1 month of use. Do not buy the Zcover buy the Moshi keyboard Proctector.

    Nice product

I'm really glad I got this along with my MacBook. It's always been on and it's amazing how smudgy it got with fingerprints and everything. When you lift it up, you can see all the dirt and stuff. The keyboard though still looks completely brand new.

The only minor thing is that it touches the MacBook's screen a little since it's a little higher. This causes the outline of the keyboard almost to show up on the screen that's only visible on a black screen. It's easy to remove though with some of the iKlear stuff so it's really not a big deal. 5 stars from me!

    Works great but wears quick

I love this product! it's thin, responsive, doesnt move, and feels normal. My only dislike is that it wears through really quickly.
I use my macbook pro for about 3 hours a day and have had this cover for about 3 months. It keeps my keyboard clean but is almost warn through on a couple of the keys. I would definitely recommend it but I will be ordering a new one right away

    The Good & The Bad

The BAD: Nothing, really. It takes a little bit to get used to typing, and the guard kinda stays raised a little on the keyboard, and lifts slightly as you type, but nothing that should bother a person.

The GOOD: Everything. When you first get it, you'll be surprised at how thin and flimsy it is. It IS incredibly thing and truly transparent. You don't even notice it unless you look. Even if you do see it, it's so sleep and professional looking, you'll want one anyway.

It very slightly lessens how black the keys on the keyboard look, and the backlighting is just a tad less bright, but I'm being tedious just so people get an honest review. It's absolutely wonderful.

OVERALL: Look forward to no longer getting crumbs stuck under your key so you havta hit it seven times in a specific spot to make the letter work.

Also, look forward to no longer having the letters smudge off after some time due to excessive use. This will indeed protect the keyboard.

OH! And no more need for an aircan!!!

    Well worth the money.

    Great Product

You can barely even tell the case is on your keyboard. It's great at keeping unwanted dust etc. out of your keyboard. It's light and stays on the keyboard well. It also lets through the light on your illuminated keyboard very well. This is an all around great product.

    Best Keyboard Cover

Before I bought the Moshi ClearGuard, I bought the Zcover one that was available in stores. I didn't like it once i put it on because it didn't even fit the keyboard properly. I returned it and in place ordered the Moshi ClearGuard and it is amazing. It fits perfectly and it doesn't even feel like it's there. It even makes my typing softer. It is not silicon material, so it is not sticky or hard to type. I definitely recommend this to anyone.

    You can see it

I bought this product based on the reviews saying this keyboard protector appears invisible. You can tell if it's on or not, you may miss it if you take a quick glance but if you give yourself a few seconds you can see it. Yet it does it's job and fits the keyboard exactly.

    Great product

I've been using this for a few months now and I have a recommendation before you start using it. After a while the used keys get a white haze from the oil and skin from your fingers which is difficult to remove. I was cleaning my macbook with klearscreen iKlear and I sprayed some on the Moshi. It made the keys less 'sticky'and easier to clean off the muck. BTW, I tried other key covers and this is by far the best.

    Excellent protection!

Ok, so I have a 2009 17" unibody MBP with Speck SeeThru cover and Bodyguardz palmrest & trackpad protector. In addition, I carry it around in a sturdy Swissgear Carbon backpack. Yes, I am overly cautious about protecting my investments. This keyboard protector was a last puzzle to a complete protection inside and outside.

At first, it would not firmly stay on the keyboard, but after a while it slowly settled in and now sits quite nicely on the keyboard. Felt a bit weird typing with this proctector at first, but eventually got used to it and would probably feel violating to touch the keyboard without this protector.

I think it's always good to be safe than sorry. Especially for the black key keyboard MBPs, it is known how easily a stain or dirt can stay on top and/or get inside the computer. I'd rather simply avoid any possible danger to my $3000+ investment.

    Keyboard Protector

It is an excellent way to protect your keyboard from dust particles. I have seen keyboards without protectors and if the keyboard was taken apart for cleaning, it was a big surprise for me to see such a mess inside. It may not be visible, but it becomes very dusty inside without the protector and eventually the keys and the processor inside get damaged. I would definitely recommend this product.
'Better safe than sorry' is the way to go.

    Great keyboard protecter

This moshi keyboard is awesome and it fits my macbook pro 15 perfectly. And I can not see the very thin protecter, its invisible on my keyboard. I'd recommend this product for those that have a macbook pro 15.

Straight forward review unlike Mac Fan boy review (always positive)

Pros - Prevents dust and spills on keyboard

Cons - visible!, gets shady(foggy) over time

This protector is great if you want to protect your keyboard from dusts and spills. Don't listen to those who say "It's invisible." All load of BS. YES YOU CAN TELL IT'S APPLIED ON. I rather have it off because the keyboard looks better but I'm always a messy person so I leave it on. And over time it does get shady, water DOE NOT clean it back to new condition. The shadyness will still be there. Other than that it still lets you type perfectly, although it does move a little bit.

    Excellent Protection

As you probably know, the unibody's black keys make anything you leave from your fingertips extremely visible....I was cleaning my keys every time I used my Macbook Pro...I purchased the Moshi Protector, and I absolutely love it. I highly recommend this product. You will be very pleased!

    GREAT PRODUCT!

a bit of a mussy, squishy feeling to it, it is covering the keys so they are not as hard/easy to the touch/response, but worth every cent - IF - it lasts a long time. For the amount of product & to produce it, it certainly could be less $. Long off from wash time, I have seen some warnings that it crinkles for good if you don't wash it properly, and may report back when that day comes. Looking for one for my pc laptop now.

    GREAT!

This keyboard protector does the job well. It allows me to type rapidly and it doesn't interfere with the sensitivity of the individual keys. I agree with other reviewers that it pops up a bit when you type, but it's not a big deal. Overall, I'm really pleased with this. Definitely WAY better than the ZCover . . .

    Amazing

This is a great buy. You barely notice that the product is on your keyboard and if you spill something on the keys it wont seep through and ruin your whole mac. If you love your mac and want to keep it even safer then get this keybaord protector,

    Nice Touch!!

I bought one for my new 13" Pro but I was quite hesitant to purchase it due to its cost. And upon its arrival, I really had second thoughts. My first impression was that there isn't very much to it for the money. However, once its fitted to the keyboard, my impression changed for the better. This is a really nice way to protect your keyboard. It has a nice feel and touch to it while keeping the dust/grime out of the machine. I would definitely buy another one if this became damaged or lost.
