Rex Covington is past president of the Houston Area Apple User Group and has been a member for more than 13 years. Many people know him from his previous position as Apple User Group Regional Liaison for the South Central United States or his FileMaker and Mac consultancy. In addition, he has served as a firefighter and paramedic in Houston.

Sandy Foderick is a founding officer and president of AOL's original user group and former Chancellor of AOL's User Group Learning Center. She has met and worked with user groups across the United States and is a member of Mini'App'Les' in Minnesota. Sandy is currently the editor of the Apple User Group Bulletin. When not busy with user groups, Sandy is a Professor of Humanities and a mother of four.

Trish Huffman left her career in the medical field to stay at home with her ever-expanding family. As Special Events Coordinator and MUG Producer at World Without Borders, the largest Macintosh chat site on the web, she works to bring MUG events to the Apple Community Connection. Trish is a member of Triangle Macintosh User Group (TMUG) in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Rick Ortiz is a long-time member of the Maui Apple User Society where he has served as president since 2000. Upon joining the group in 1997 he worked hard to help them build from 30 members to nearly 200. Rick owns a Multimedia/Mac consulting business in Maui and has previous experience working in the non-profit sector. Rick currently serves as team leader for the Apple User Group Regional Liaison team.

Tom Piper founded appleJAC Macintosh Users Group in 1984 and has served in many officer positions since. He has worked on newsletters, mail servers, educational sessions and web sites. In 1984 he established the first Macs in government agencies, and has continually supported expansion and integration efforts since then. Tom is a familiar face at Macworld Expo and UGU. He also manages MacQuest Consulting and serves as the vendor relations liaison for the Apple User Group Advisory Board.

Lynn Poos became involved with Macs in the 1980s and is the Secretary-Treasurer Emeritus and a Life Member of the Silicon Mountain Macintosh User Group, Inc. (SMMUG) in Colorado Springs, CO. He retired in 1993 from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department after thirty-four years of service and moved to Colorado to "relax." He was chairman of the Juvenile Community Review Board for Colorado's Fourth Judicial District until 1998 when Governor Owens asked him to chair the Juvenile Parole Board for the State of Colorado. He served in this position until December 2004 when the Governor accepted his resignation. Now living in Southern California, he remains active with SMMUG.

David Roemer, David Roemer is founder of the Apple Student Core @ Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He spends most of his time now with the team at Ideas United as they run Campus MovieFest, the world's largest student movie-making events. At each participating school, David and the CMF team focus on creating or strengthening the campus group community of students passionate about using Apple technology to improve their lives. David has previously worked for Apple Marketing and he serves as an advisor to numerous film & technology companies and nonprofits in the US and UK.

Elsa Travisano has been a guiding force for Macintosh User Group of Oneonta, NY (MUG ONE) in upstate New York for more than twenty years. She currently serves as president and edits MUG ONE's award-winning newsletter, Newsbreak. Her reviews for Newsbreak are frequently reprinted in publications and on the web. Her husband, son and daughter are all avid Mac users. Elsa owns a Macintosh consulting business and is a certified member of the Apple Consultants Network. She serves as Chair of the Apple User Group Advisory Board.

Warren S. Williams is the co-founder and president of the AppleWorks Users Group and the iWork Users Group, the world's largest computer users group with thousands of members in the U.S. and 49 other countries. Dr. Williams, a Professor Emeritus of Educational Technology at Eastern Michigan University, has been using computers since 1965 and bought his first Apple computer in 1982.
