We rolled out the red carpet for these long-time Apple supporters — with special badges, a continental breakfast reception, and seating so close to the stage you could spit on it (thankfully no one did). Afterwards we took them over to the Apple cafeteria for a delicious free lunch, gave out a few prizes to take back to the troops, and then moved on to The Company Store for some serious shopping. Passing through the atrium we actually caught a glimpse of Jobs himself, who tossed a friendly hello to the group as he walked by on his way to lunch.
