About Apple Tree Spacing Calculator
A decision-aid, interactive apple tree spacing calculator for commercial apple growers to determine correct orchard tree spacing based on scion, rootstock, soil,irrigation, management, system and expected tree height. Calculates feet between trees in-row, feet between trees across-row, and number of trees per acre. Developed by Ron Perry and Jerry Hull, Michigan State University, and Jon Clements, University of Massachusetts Amherst.
