About Tilt: a Game in 1.5 Dimensions
Tilt, the first motion-controlled game for the iPhone and defines a new genre of games. Voted one of the top nine hacks for the iPhone by Wired Magazine, players simply tilt the iPhone to feed Flip, who likes to eat falling leaves and butterflies. By rotating between portrait and landscape, players change Flip’s color to match the color of falling items and score points. Information about Tilt can be found here: http://www.xeodesign.com/tilt. Information on XEODesign’s emotion research used to design Tilt is here: http://www.xeodesign.com/whyweplaygames. Tilt is developed by: Nicole Lazzaro (game design), Joe Hewitt (code), Colin Toomey (art), with help from Kent Bye, and Felipe Ortiz. Made during iPhone Dev Camp July 6-8, 2007 in San Francisco.
