About Snootz: For Better Behaved Kidz
Take off on the star and sticker programs parents use with kids but using a bank/bankbook as a metaphor. Product has a humorous story line which uses “Snootz” (tokens that look like pig snouts) as units of currency to trade with parents for good behavior. Additional features are that for one price parents can create as many incentive programs as they like. When the “bank account name” is shared with others like babysitters, coaches, teachers and other caregivers, the incentives can be applied by these Guest Helpers. Kids can check their progress with parents looking at a bar graph of their performance. Additional information about good parenting is presented on the site.

The product is designed by Dr. Peter Favaro who has credentials in the technology and child behavior fields. Peter is a psychologist who has written more than a dozen books including SmartParenting (Contemporary Books)and Educators Guide to Microcomputers and Learning. He is also an award winning (including a CES Showcase Award) game designer who programmed and produced Alter Ego, a legendary video game of the mid and late 80’s. You can see Peter on television often speaking about technology and parenting topics
