About Google Maps for iPod touch
Since the iPod Touch inexplicably didn’t come with a Google Maps application, and since maps.google.com doesn’t work well on the Touch Safari browser, I wrote my own interface for Google Maps via the maps API here.

The coolest thing is that you can drag the map around by using _two_ fingers. You can also check traffic, get driving directions, and search for local businesses. The app also helpfully remembers the addresses you’ve used in the past so you don’t have to re-enter common addresses each time.
