About SkyCharts
Many amateur astronomers in North America monitor local sky conditions using the Clear Sky Chart web sites cleardarksky.com/csk created by Atilla Danko which provide very detailed 48 hour color coded forecast charts on cloud cover, transparency, seeing, wind, temperature and other factors. This application will monitor any three chart locations from the more than 3600 available. In addition a single tap on any of the charts will open the associated CSC site in Mobile Safari. If a red pushpin icon appears beside a chart you can tap it to see the location plotted in Google Maps.
