Apple Volume Licensing Programme (AVLP)
Whether your business, school or university is large or small, the Apple Volume Licensing Programme (AVLP) provides an easy and cost-effective way to purchase Apple software, including:
With the AVLP, you license the right to use Apple software on a specified number of computers at your business, school or university — you determine how many.

The way it works is simple: choose the software title you wish to license, decide on the number of licences you wish to purchase and then call the Apple Licensing Desk or contact your local Apple Reseller.
Discounts are based on the number of licences you are purchasing for each software title. For most products, volume pricing starts at just 10 licences. However, Apple’s professional video and audio products have a low entry-level tier of only 5 licences, this tier covers the purchase of Final Cut Studio, Aperture and Logic Studio. You don’t have to be a big organisation to make big savings.
Media and Documentation
Media and documentation sets are not automatically sent out with Volume Licensing purchases. They are available to buy, up to a quantity that matches the number of licences acquired. When you place your software order, be sure to purchase any media and documentation you might need.

Licensing Tiers Available
The normal licensing tiers available are:
- 10 - 99 users
- 100 - 999 users
- 1000+ users
These tiers cover the purchase of Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, Logic Express, Final Cut Express, iLife, iWork and GarageBand Jam Packs*.
An additional tier is available for purchases of QuickTime Pro and Mac OS X Server AMP:
- 1 - 9 users
- 10 - 99 users
- 100 - 999 users
- 1000+ users
Apple’s Pro Video and Audio apps (Final Cut Studio, Logic Studio and Aperture) have a special low entry-level tier:

Xsan has two different tier systems available for AVLP and AMP purchases.
