Will this work with the new iPad pro 11"

I'm looking for an external hard drive that will work with both a MacBook and the new iPad Pro 11". I'm wondering if this will work with both and if this hard drive won't work is there one that will?

  • you have to format it as ExFAT. then MAYBE you can use it with iPadpro (i said "maybe" because i dont know if ipados supports 5TB hard drive, i am using 2 TB with ipadpro 10.5 inch with no problem)

  • This one won’t work with the iPad Pro as it’s not supported (I have it and the iPad Pro). It says “Cannot read the connected storage media” formatted as APFS.

  • Nope. I'm connecting this external hard drive with my iPad now but it can't detect anything even after troubleshooting.
