  • Yes, but with caveats. You would most likely need to open the ports for whatever VoIP protocols your implementation is using: SCCP (Skinny), SIP or MGCP. You would need to check with your VoIP service provider to confirm which protocol and ports AND whether they can confirm the Cisco phone and service are known to work well with the AirPort. Past AirPort routers have NOT supported QoS (quality of service) and this causes a problem with VoIP services. The service may be unreliable as a result. In short, do a lot of homework. There is a workaround to this, but it involves using another router as the gateway to the ISP and the AirPort in bridged mode to provide WiFi, AirPlay, etc.
