Is the Apple Pencil (1st Generation) compatible with the iPad Air A1474 from 2014? I'm pretty sure it isn't but I just want to make sure!

Unfortunately, the 1st generation apple pencil will not be compatible with a1474 ipad air. These are the ipads that will work, however: Apple pencil (1st generation) is compatible with 12.9 inch ipad pro (1st and 2nd generation) (2015 and 2017 revisions of the 12.9 inch ipad pros) 9.7 inch ipad pro (2016 version of the smaller ipad pro) 10.5 inch ipad pro (2017 version of the smaller ipad pro) 9.7 inch ipad (2018) 10.2 inch ipad (2019) Ipad air (2019) Ipad mini (2019) Apple pencil (2nd generation) is compatible with 12.9 inch ipad pro (3rd and 4th generation) (2018 and 2020 revisions of the 12.9 inch ipad pros) 11 inch ipad pro (1st and 2nd generation) (2018 and 2020 revisions of the 11 inch ipad pros)
