  • They are not waterproof but they do have sweat and dust resistance meaning they won't be ruined by rain or falling in a puddle. That being said don't like throw them in a pool or shower with them.

  • They're rated to be IPX4, so only sweat and splash proof.

  • Absolutely NOT. Speakers are not waterproof. See disclosure. AirPods Pro are sweat and water resistant for non-water sports and exercise. AirPods Pro were tested under controlled laboratory conditions, and have a rating of IPX4 under IEC standard 60529. Sweat and water resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge wet AirPods Pro; For cleaning and drying instructions. The charging case is not sweat or water resistant.

  • No; as stated on the product page, AirPods Pro are water resistant, which is not the same as waterproof. They can withstand light rain, but are not rated to survive being submerged in water. (They may survive a brief stay underwater, but there are no guarantees... so it's definitely not recommended)

  • My AirPod 2's have been through a full washing machine cycle twice, one has been in the clothes dryer once and one has been in twice and they both work perfectly!
