No, iPhone has a Lightning connector.
MacBook has a USB-C connector (it does USB, DisplayPort, and HDMI; it doesn't do Thunderbolt).
MacBook Pro has a Thunderbolt 3 connector (it does USB, DisplayPort, HDMI, and Thunderbolt).
You need a "Lightning to USB Cable" if you have a USB-A port.
You need a "USB-C to Lightning Cable" if you have a USB-C port or a Thunderbolt 3 port.- Answered by Joseph V from Fort Langley
