Is the Apple AirPods charging case waterproof?

A new case was accidentally washed with a regular laundry load. Light turned on when I opened it after pulling it out of the washer but we want to make sur it’s still safe to use to charge AirPods.

no, i dropped mine down the toilet. 10/10 Don’t recommend
