Does this display use any of the PCIe bandwidth from the MacBook Pro's Thunderbolt controller?
I.e. Can another Thunderbolt 3 device be connected to the other Thunderbolt port on the same side of the MacBook Pro and receive all 4 lanes of PCIe?

Can 2 of these monitors be used with the 13 Inch 2017 Macbook Pro without touch-bar?
The Macbook Pro 13 Inch 2017 model without touch-bar only has two thunderbolt 3 ports. Can I run two of these displays at native 5k? This will use up both the ports on the Macbook, but I would have effectively gained 6 USB-C ports from the displays. Is this correct? And which of the displays would drive power to the Macbook?

Poor performance on older generation Macbook Pro?
HI there,
I have a 2.9 i7, with 16gb of ram mid 2015 Macbook Pro. I'm running the 5K display at a scaled resolution and I'm battling with CPU usage problems.
Does the display require a lot of CPU power to run on an older generation system? I'm guessing because it's pushing the video card so hard, it's affecting performance of my CPU too?
Just curious how that works. I already ordered a new MB Pro to hopefully dissolve this issue.- Asked by Andrew M from Los Angeles

What's the best way to mount an external harddrive to the back of the LG UltraFine 5K Display?
We are used to the awesome Apple Thunderbolt displays where it has a special bracket for mounting hard drives to the back of the display, but I can't find anything suitable for the new LG displays.
Any suggestions?- Asked by Martinette B from Boulder
