Does this fit the 2020 MacBook air 13?
It does for the most part. Top piece fits perfectly. Bottom piece: I could not get the tab that is in the left corner next to the ESC key on all the way. I pulled and tugged, but it won't budge. I believe that the 2020 MBA is like a millimeter thicker than the 2018 and 2019 MBAs, and as such it won't fit perfectly. However, this has no impact on the case usability at all. I can still open, close the laptop, it's just 1-2 mm shy of snapping on in that corner. And since there are so many other tabs all around the bottom of the laptop, this does not present an issue at all.
Bottom line, if you have a 2020 MBA and don't mind a little corner not being fully snapped on, this is the product for you. I love this case and it offers the most protections that I was able to find for the MBA.
The case only covers the outside top, bottom and sides, except for areas that need to be left open (ports, headphone jack, and areas needed for ventilation, and to allow unencumbered opening of the display).
There are a number of inexpensive, protective skins available for this model. Some are better than others. Do some research and above all, read the reviews, before purchasing. My recommendation is to not use them. With top-of-the line laptops such as the MBP, I recommend keeping your hands reasonably clean (no food or drink nearby!!), and the inside of your laptop vacuumed and free from foreign substances, as much as possible. Skins for the keyboard and trackpad have a reputation for destroying the feel and usability of the computer.

It does NOT fit the 2018 model dont waste your time
I agree with the previous response. It was a concern I had before purchasing but I've used it for more than a month and had no problem whatsoever with heat regardless of the mode, battery or charging.
