AnswerUsing a micro USB to lightning adapter it will work with a charger but not with a OTG cable with a flash drive .

Im planning on buying a memory drive that is duel sided, one side usb and one side micro usb (android), if I buy this adapter and put it onto the micro usb part, will I be able to transfer my iPad photos and videos onto the memory flash drive?

Sadly no (I'd love this functionality too) - the iPad software only allows specific devices to interact with the iPad in 'host' mode. So cameras, for example.
Garmin connect dashboard uses a plugin called 'Communicator' (a small application that runs in the background) on your mac or PC to enable the webpage to download the rides from your computer. Unfortunately although you may be able to visit the Garmin website on your iPad, there's no way for the website to load any communicator plugins on an iPad to pull the data off the Garmin device via the iPad. There is also the limitation of the fact that Apple has locked down this functionality.
The only hope in the future would be Garmin writing an App and making a specific device interface to enable this - but knowing Garmin, bluetooth 4.0 connectivity is more likely than this!- Answered by Mark W

Will this fit in for most of the iPhone 5 cases?
I heard that some of the users have experienced difficulties while using the Lightning to 30-Pin adapter, that it will not fit when you have a case on.

AnswerYou can transfer that file if two other conditions are also present. 1) You only want to transfer video and pictures. 2) You plug a Powered USB hub in first. A Powered USB hub has a wall adapter to supply power (you get an error message on the iPad from the USB drive drawing too much power if the hub doesn't get power from the wall).
