AnswerThere should be a little light on the inside of the case indicating its charge (Red for needs charging, Green for charged). You can charge the case and your phone at the same time as well. To see the charge percentage of your phone and case, simply swipe down to view your notifications, and it should be there. Also, it appears on the lock screen too.

AnswerIt kicks in first. The case uses its battery before your phone’s, which I think it way smarter than other cases that simply charge the device. This case is like your phone has two batteries, not one battery being charged by another source.
