    So happy I upgraded

Had the original Trackpad for years and thought that was good, but version 2 is a joy to use.

It needs time to get used to clicking anywhere and having force feedback but now when I use the old trackpad on my Macbook Pro it feels antiquated.

    Must-have for every desktop Mac

This trackpad does exactly as advertised.

I bought this trackpad exactly one month ago and the battery just drained to 0%. So yeah, it could last for about a month under normal usage.

Apple Trackpads never disappointed me since the iBook (Mid 2005) with two finger scrolling. Multi Touch Trackpad on my MacBook Unibody (2008) was smooth like silk and I could live without a mouse.

Most PC trackpads, even as of today, are simply incomparable to Apple's. They are slow, sluggish, and feels bad when you touch them.

The Magic Trackpad, however, has a smooth glass surface that moves your cursor accurately and scrolls smoothly. Force Touch is a plus although not all applications are utilising it.

What's more, you can pair and even use this trackpad as a wired device with the included lightening to USB cable. Simple.

Very good! Like MBP touchpad, but bigger.

I've been using a MacBook Pro for the past four years, and have always had the force touch and Taptic response. I bought an iMac and found myself suddenly using a mouse again... It felt like I had gone backwards in time. This Trackpad does exactly what you'd expect an Apple Trackpad to do. It behaves exactly like the MBP touchpad. The only criticism I can think of is that the Taptic response isn't quite as strong as the MBP Trackpad, but it's a minor complaint.

    It is indeed MAGIC!

An absolutely incredible product. I don't know how Apple have done it, but the Magic Trackpad 2 and it's big brother, the wireless keyboard, connects effortlessly to my iMac nearly 20% of the time! That's right, I only need to restart my iMac 8 times out of ten to get the two Apple designed products to connect to the Apple designed computer. It's that kind of experience that makes makes Apple stand out in a world of peripherals that don't work as advertised. Would definitely buy again.
