    Poor value

    • Written by Ryan W from Westlake Village

This is a review of how well the product works and the value it provides. I've had this cable for about 6 months now and it works as expected. However, the value proposition on this item is poor. This shorter cable costs $20. The USB-C charger you'll also need to buy is an additional $50. That means you're spending $70 minimum to charge your iPhone somewhat faster. The value of this product, cost vs benefit, is questionable at best.

    Where's The Speed?

just received my cable today and synced my Brand New iPad Pro with a Brand New iMac seems just as slow as the normal lightning to usb cable will see how it works with the XS Max. Still love my Apple Products 19.00 cable should've came with a 1,700 and up computer or a 1,300+ phone..

    They don’t hold up

    • Written by Edward N from NORTH HOLLYWOOD

Every single Apple power cable I’ve used has ended up with the white plastic outer cover fraying, exposing the wires. They usually start exhibiting this problem after a year of use. Aftermarket cables that use braiding are highly superior. Apple needs to beef up their power cables. Exposed wires could lead to a short that fries the device.

    The cable works great, BUT.........

When did theres an APP for that, turn into, theres a cable for that, theres an adapter for that, theres another charge for that? An admitted Apple snob has become discontented with high price and lack of innovation. I also am concerned that you cannot freely review products here. I needed to go on other numerous sites to get user reviews. My MacBook works fine but I have had to buy numerous cables, adapters and add ons to get it to work the way I need. For $1299 on the MacBook I think the cables, etc. should come with it. Apple! Get it together!
