Apple Store Reservation Pass FAQs

Learn about the frequently asked questions related to the use of the Apple Store Reservation Pass.

What is a reservation pass?

It’s a confirmation that we are holding the product you want until the end of the business day.

Can I redeem my reservation at a different Apple Store?

No. The reservation is valid for pickup only at the Apple Store where it was issued and can be used only once.

Can I transfer my reservation?

Your reservation is non-transferable and can be used only once. Please be prepared to show valid government-issued photo ID.

What if I decide I want a different product?

Please talk to a Specialist immediately if you have changed your mind. We will check to see if your desired product is available. We cannot guarantee that the product you want will be available.

What happens if for some reason I can no longer access my digital reservation on my phone? Or if I lose my paper reservation?

We can look up your reservation using your name, email, or phone number if you provided it. Please be prepared to show valid government-issued photo ID. If you were issued a paper reservation and did not provide any contact information, the paper reservation cannot be replaced and we cannot honor the reservation.

What does the group number mean?

Group numbers help us serve you in an organized way. Regardless of your group number, once you have a reservation, your product is reserved specifically for you and held for you until the end of the business day. You will be matched with a Specialist based on group number — we will help customers in Group 1 first, Group 2 next, and so on.

How long is my reservation valid?

The reservation is valid until the end of the day on the day that it was issued.
