      Parrot Mambo MiniDrone

Read and watched different reviews about this drone. Very good small drone, easy to fly for first timer like me.

The default mode after taking off is a station keeping hover. This means that even on a windy day simply take your hands off the controls and the drone will stop and try to stay in place. This feature has made learning much easier. Both the canon and the grippers work great for such a small price tag. I have crashed many times it's very durable. No replacement parts needed yet after two weeks of flying.

A fun, high quality drone; pity about the camera

It hovers perfectly, and responds well to commands (even better with the optional flypad). While it can be flown inside, it's speed and agility really makes it more fun outdoors - just not on a windy day as it's simply too light to fly with confidence on a windy day - expect to lose it or at least crash it! Luckily it's (generally) pretty sturdy, and even survived a 20 metre drop onto a roof today (yep, a gust of wind tipped it over)... However, a small drop (less than 1 metre) where it landed upside down resulted in a burnt out motor. Many thanks to Apple for simply swapping it for a new one... The camera (which points downwards) is really not very good; in this day and age it should be far better. In terms of the grabber and shooter - I hardly use them. The balls are so tiny they are lost really easily. The grabber is difficult to use as when you try to fly low to grab something the downwards facing sensor tries to auto-correct and lift the drone. But they're an added bit of fun to challenge your flying skills! In summary, a solid four (a better quality camera would have resulted in five stars) given it does what it says on the box; nothing more and nothing less.
