One of the best investments I've made for travel

I spend about one-third of my weekends every year traveling for work. The Bose QC 35 headphones have become one of the best investments I've made for travel. Yo I spend about one-third of my weekends every year traveling for work. The Bose QC 35 headphones have become one of the best investments I've made for travel. You never know when you are on a flight and there's a crying baby (why are there so many crying babies??), and you just want to drown out the noise. Well, the QC35 does that for you. I'll often leave on the QC35 on long flights just for its noise-canceling abilities, and not even play any music. It deafens the roar of the airplane engines, makes crying babies seem reasonable, and yeah -- it also comes with an adapter wire that hooks into airplane headphone jacks, so you can use it to watch in-flight movies (for those long international flights) in style. This is the perfect gift for anyone who is a frequent traveler, but just also anyone who needs a super noise-canceling device. There are other cool perks like being able to sync two QC35s together in the app to stream music from one device. Makes watching movies together on the plane easier. I don't often get to use that perk, but it's pretty sweet.

Decent sound, not £300 good sound

If noise cancelling is the biggest factor for you when it comes to headphones, these are without a doubt as the rest of the internet will tel you the best choice available. Period. They look nice, are super comfortable, have a decent case and selection of cables included. However I experience ear pains with some types of headphones (typically in ear ones) and these after only a few days of using have resurfaced the pain for me. It's a shame because they are luxurious headphones. This is a well documented issue it turns out so be aware that if you have these problems, this could be a deal breaker for you. Ontop of this, the sound with the noise cancellation off (which is the source of the ear pressure and pain), the audio is sub par, and not close to what you'd expect from Bose or a £300 pair of headphones. I would recommend these, but only for people who perhaps fly or have to travel a lot and can only hope to consume audio with world class noise cancelling. Unfortunately this comes with a slight price, less high quality audio, and possible pain. There is better out there for the same money for everything here apart from build quality and noise cancellation. For me the discomfort when using the feature set and the decent but not £300 sound quality mean this isn't the one.

These headphones are perfect for studying, needing some quiet time to think, or just wanting to enjoy the lyrics and beats of the a song because of noise-cancellation. I recommend this to people who love music, and students who want some quiet space to think. The older version of these headphones do the same thing as this version; with the exception of Google Assistant and Siri. I always activate Siri to play some songs for me within Apple music. But it works well with Google Assistant.

      Absolutely Amazing

I don't write reviews much, but these should not be three and a half stars. To give one star because it can not pause youtube is ridiculous. It gives you plenty of controls and I care way more than these sound great then occasionally I have to skip manually on certain apps. There are only a few headphones that I've tried that sound better than the QC 35. The flagship V-Moda and Sony sound a little better IMO, but I bought these for more than just sound. I'm in law school and they help me stay focused so well. The noise canceling is amazing and they are easily the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. If you want just a pure listening headphone there are a few options like V-Moda or Audio Technica, maybe Sony I'd consider over these, but if you want something that will be a tool for you that you can listen to for hours on end while you work or travel these are yours. AND they sound fantastic! The Bose QC-35 were created for a specific purpose to feel comfortable as long as they're on your head and sound great and it achieves that brilliantly. Unless you're insanely passionate about what one-star guy said disregard him. You get sooooooooooooo much more for your money with these then the beats. There more durable, built better, the case is better, they feel better, and most importantly sound better. The beats arguably look better, but these look pretty darn good IMO. Beats only win on slightly more battery and to their credit a bigger wireless range. Beats would be a good $175-$200 headphone but $350 is absurd. These feel more worth it and if the price seems high then Bose sells them refurbished for $220. Their refurbished products, have been used for 2 weeks or less, have complete factory inspection and the same warranty as the full price. If you're looking for a nice pair of travel or study headphone then you can't beat the classic, I know I've tried a lot of headphones (returned beats first day actually) and have no regrets on these.
