No magnets. Not great for two-handed typing.

First, there are no magnets to auto sleep/wake the iPad. In a product costing almost $100, I was shocked at this omission. Second, there is no configuration First, there are no magnets to auto sleep/wake the iPad. In a product costing almost $100, I was shocked at this omission. Second, there is no configuration in which the cover is both open and held securely against the back of the iPad. I hold my iPad in two hands, portrait mode, and type with my thumbs, and when attempting to do that with the Moleskine cover, it flops around on the hinge at the back of the cover. Haven’t dropped the iPad yet, but I may return it before I do.

I purchased this folio for its quality feel and appearance, but I have agree with the other reviewer that it leaves a lot to be desired functionally. My real c I purchased this folio for its quality feel and appearance, but I have agree with the other reviewer that it leaves a lot to be desired functionally. My real complaint however is that the IPad is held in place by a ridged plastic case much like a phone case. Mine slid off the back of a sofa and fell 30” to a wooden floor. Two of the corners of the case broke off and the side snapped. I checked with Moleskine and they denied warranty coverage. $100 is a lot to pay for an item that only lasted four months.
