      Shattered remote

My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped an My remote dropped on the floor and shattered, and is so small I have to be careful with it around my baby. Fix the remote so it doesn't shatter when dropped and also so it isn't so small that it gets lost. Also make the replacement cost reasonable, the only people buying replacement remotes are people who have broken their remotes already. So maybe don't try and make a large profit on the replacement remotes.

It's really lightweight and feels good. I've never had amy problems with it not connecting/getting disconnected. I've drop it from roughly 3-4 ft. many times and it has yet to shatter (p.s. it has no case). If it wasn't so small and easy to lose, I would give it 5 stars (It's not 3 stars because they brought the price down from $79.00 to $59.00, so I gave it 1 more star).

Thankfully, I have Amazon Fire also...

I recently purchased a new Apple TV 4K. I am an Apple fanatic and have been since 2004. Apple everything! Love it all. I have to admit I just can't get the hang I recently purchased a new Apple TV 4K. I am an Apple fanatic and have been since 2004. Apple everything! Love it all. I have to admit I just can't get the hang of the new Siri remote. Swapping out the simple to use directional circle and center "enter" method of the previous Apple TV for this weird and non-intuitive touch pad is insane for so many reasons. First of, just handling the device requires a whole new level of control because it is so easy to fire off the enter function. Then, navigating using up/down, right/left swiping is so unnatural I have to make sure I am very calmed down when I have to use it or certainly I will throw it across the room. My wife won't even touch it It doesn't seem to matter how careful and smooth you stroke the pad you will miss your intended landing spot. Then you get to play the back and forth or up and down game trying to get there. At least with the old remote you got one space with each click of the directional ring. Just like British Rail..." it may take a little longer, but we'll get you there..." This is purely design for design change and based on the reviews here, absolutely not a winner. Please make my old remote work with the new Apple TV. Everyday I am using my Amazon Fire more and more, and now seem to only going to the Apple TV to access my previously purchased movies.

      Overpriced, Too Small, Easily Lost

While I like the sleek appearance of the new remote for the Apple TV, it's way too small and can be too easily lost. My roommates and I all use the Apple TV in our apartment and we all work hard to not lose the remote, but it's so easy to lose. The remote can fall out of your hand while you're using it. I don't see why just the remote costs $59.00 when clearly the only reason someone would buy it, is to replace one they've lost/broken. We've lost this remote so many times and have ripped apart our living room more times than we can count trying to find it. We just decided to use an extra remote to pair to the Apple TV instead of buying a new one. Don't waste your money on replacing it when you can buy a $10 remote from Walmart and pair that with your TV instead. The remote we use now is bigger and works just as well.
