It provides no protection on 3 sides and doesn't interfere with the new apple pencil when it's attached to its magnetically attached to its charging location.

Coupled with the fact that this cover is both front and back, when the cover is open and you support the iPad from the bottom with one hand, two sharp edges, the front and back covers, cut into your hand. I does a fine job of protecting the iPad when not in use, but I have to remove it to use my iPad most of the time. It's going back to the store...

      Looks okay but, feels bad

Case looks okay. The edges on the case are very sharp so it it very uncomfortable to hold this case.

Whoever designed this Folio for 11" Pro should be fired!

Don't buy this, its expensive, uncomfortable, sharp edges and doesn't stay on. The edges are exposed so if you drop it, on a corner, your iPad Pro 11" is toast. I gave it a shot as almost everything Apple makes it great, assuming other reviewers were careless when it got dropped etc, however my less than two month old iPad Pro sailed out of it when I picked up normally, straight on to the tiled floor, no idea how.. bye iPad! Paid to replace the iPad as Apple take no liability and got a Dux Ducis case which is excellent.

I believe it was caused by the heat from the iPad during charging while open with cover folded back on itself. The PU material used is too soft for the heat generated during charging. The cover material should be able to withstand these temperatures whether the cover is open or closed. I was disappointed when Apple did not release a leather Smart Cover for the new iPad Pro so bought the PU model anyway. The poor selection of colors is also disappointing. Given the percentage of one star reviews here Apple should withdraw this product. It is poor quality and well below standard for Apple, especially given the premium price charged by Apple.
