For the reviewer who said there is no place for Apple Pencil it is magnetized and it attaches to the side of the iPad and that will also charge it.

I am very worried about the keys scratching the screen up, but I'm trying to remain calm.

      Why all the hate?

For the last 2 days, I've been trialing whether or not I can replace my MBP 15 with this while traveling/flying on businesses. So far, YES I CAN, this keyboard has enabled me to work so much quicker and is only made better with the iPadOS beta just released, the angle of the iPad and screen is just perfect. Another thing I love about this case is the magnets. I hate cases on my phones, laptops and iPad at the same time as I am OCD about scratches. I always felt the cases for iPads scratch when you clip unclip clip unclip etc. With the magnets, these days are gone. Some points to what I've read and heard about this case: "It makes my iPad bulky" - Well yes, what did you expect... you're adding an entire keyboard, its not that thick, we're talking roughly the thickness of the latest MacBook Pro "It won't protect my device if I drop it" - True if you drop the iPad on its side it won't, but common guys, you have an £1100 device. Take care of it. "its expensive" - It is Apple.... what did you expect. also in apple tradition, while expensive. "It just works" no charging, no clipping it into place, just slap it on, and you're good to go. Best Apple accessory I've bought to date.

      Do The Thing

While it had some benefits like additional protection and backlit keys... it was anything but a seamless experience. The case added a lot of weight that in my eyes defeated the purpose of having a such a beautiful, portable, cutting edge iPad Pro. After only a few days, I returned it and decided to go out on a limb and give this bad boy a go. Putting the case on was effortless and it instantly connected to my iPad. I personally love the look and feel of the case and keys. It’s modern, convenient, and keeps a low and light profile which is essential for a college student on the go. In short - make the right choice the first time around and pick up this keyboard. I was pleasantly surprised and find it to be everything i hoped for and more.

      Adequate keyboard. Horrible case.

Buy this case if you don't value your iPad's safety. This case relies on a single magnet to hold the iPad in the case. Meaning, if for some reason the magnet doesn't grab on to your iPad, your iPad will come out of the case and break on your tile floor. Furthermore, Apple will not stand behind their products when they fail and you will have to pay the full 499 to repair the screen. They will tell you the folio is not designed to protect the iPad. Good luck getting them to explain how else to protect it while using this folio, other than buying AppleCare. Avoid the highway robbery charge for repair. Get a keyboard case that will actually protect your device. The keyboard itself is adequate and otherwise functions fine.
