      What a disappointment!

I was very excited to see that Apple had redesigned this product. None of my previous 3 Apple iPad Keyboards made it through their first year with disconnection problems. I opened this one to find the finish felt like a very cheap plastic. There were bubbles all over the finish and it was discolored in several spots. When I called Apple support, they said they couldn't send me a new one until this one was returned to their warehouse. I can't even order a replacement because they are now several weeks out on backorder. I'm not left with no way to protect my even more expensive than the last model iPad Pro. What has happened to you, Apple?

Not worth $200 on any planet. Wait for Logitech or Brydge or other keyboard

Got it because it's the current Day-1 "only" option. It WILL be going back. It was my fault for not reading that it does not have a backlit keyboard. Which b Got it because it's the current Day-1 "only" option. It WILL be going back. It was my fault for not reading that it does not have a backlit keyboard. Which begs the question. WHAT? WHY? If not, why so expensive? A lesson I already knew. Buy the main Apple products, but get the accessories somewhere else.

Big design flaw - Why would you leave the keys exposed?

Got this earlier today. I can’t figure out why they removed the flap that covers the keys up for when the cover is closed. It seems like the keys are going to Got this earlier today. I can’t figure out why they removed the flap that covers the keys up for when the cover is closed. It seems like the keys are going to attract a bunch of dirt and get scratched up when its fully opened and not in “keyboard” mode and the keyboard is just facing down on your work surface. And then when the keys are dirty or are scratched they will scratch up the iPad display when the cover is closed. I think this is a serious design flaw. It does seem more solid and durable than the previous version which I went through a couple of as they seemed to lose their connection to the smart connector on the previous iPad Pro model.

      Great Keyboard

Not back lit? As someone has already said, learn to touch type. In this day and age you should be doing that anyway. This keyboard has allowed me to use my iPad Not back lit? As someone has already said, learn to touch type. In this day and age you should be doing that anyway. This keyboard has allowed me to use my iPad Pro for business reports overseas without ever touching the MacBook Pro that I brought along in case I needed it. The keyboard works as advertised, is comfortable to use and I like the two different angles, because I like to lay in bed in the hotel room in the evening and watch baseball with the iPad Pro on the lamp table beside the bed. The keyboard allows for the upright angle to do that. For my previous iPad Pro 9.7 I had to stick something behind the device to get a higher angle. Pretty expensive, though, but I’ve been using this for more than a month now and have mostly forgot about the price. I only mention it, because absolutely everybody else does.
