Following on from a previous answer, I would recommend the Belkin USB C to Gigabit Ethernet adapter, it works a treat for me with the displays.

None of the new Macs nor new LG displays come with a hard wire network connection. You would need to use wifi or get a USBc to RJ-45 connector to connect a network cable.
