Will this support dual 2560 x 1440 monitors that have Display Port inputs?
Will this support dual 2560 x 1440 monitors that have Display Port inputs?
I do a lot of design work so DPI is very important (I know that is to do with the monitors but higher res = greater DPI)
Alternatively is there an easier way? I also need Ethernet and support for my Thunderbolt External HDD.
Thanks!- Asked by Adrian D from Ermington

I'm unclear about attaching peripheral monitors to this. Can I use this dock to connect 2 1080p TV's? Or do multiple monitors have to be Apple?

I have a MacBook Pro from 2010. Does it have Thunderbolt 2 capacity in order to properly utilize the docking station?
I am in the process of setting up my home office and would need a docking station for my laptop to connect to a dual-monitor set up. in addition to that, I will have an external hard drive that will need to be connected. Will this product handle the capacity of a laptop, external hard drive, and 2 monitors?

Are there any Thunderbolt Displays that are not Apple's? I want to use the dock in dual display mode, but need Thunderbolt.
I would like to use a Dual Display setup with this dock. Of course you must have 2 Thunderbolt Displays or else you still have to hook the 2nd monitor up to your Mac directly. At that point, why bother with the dock. What I really want is Apple's Thunderbolt Display with Modern features (USB 3.0 anyone?).

Is it possible to connect 2 HDMI displays to this dock?
My current setup is a MacBook Pro Retina (late 2013) which I connect to 2 HDMI displays using the MacBook HDMI port for one, a mini-display port to HDMI adapter for the other one. The dock has the same connectors so will this work with the dock? A second question, the dock has an hdmi port and the MacBook pro would have an HDMI port as well, so could I use both HDMI ports to connect to 2 HDMi displays?

Is the Belkin Thunderbolt 2 Express HD Dock supposed to be able to power the SuperDrive?
I am getting a "Device needs power" message when I try. The Belkin hub is supposed to have 10watts of power available. I only have a keyboard attached to the other USB ports.

I own a mac book pro early 2011 which does not have a thunderbolt 2, but the earlier thunderbolt port. It also only has usb 2.0 ports. I want to connect to a usb 3 hard drive and a display so am looking for a thunderbolt hub with both usb 3 and thunderbolt. Will this do the job?
