Do Not Buy This Printer or You will shall become Very Angry!!!!!!!

    • Written by William (Bill) T from YPSILANTI

If I could give it zero stars I would. I have experienced numerous problems. There is virtually no support. If you don't get everything right on setup the very first time out of the box on this thing forever your toast for anything other than basic printer. (If it recognizes your network.)

No support from HP. I know...it didn't cost a lot but I'd say if it doesn't work don't sell it. I can't scan to mail, scan to a drive, or anything else currently.

You basically have to spend all your time scanning to an email address one sided page at a time to store anything. I have yet to figure out how to scan this thing to my iCloud account. Perhaps Drop Box and Google Drive has better interface.

I would not recommend buying this printer unless you want to spend a whole lot of time on your own trying to figure out how to trouble shoot it. Again no support. Try another brand.

One of the Best OfficeJet Pro Printers I've Ever Used

    • Written by Larry M from Loudon

Yes, it's big, but it also has many features that require the size, such as printing, copying and scanning legal size documents. It's very fast, and though one reviewer cited paper jams, I've yet to have one. In the past, HP printers have been notorious for losing their WiFi connection and also for being unable to scan, even with the WiFi connected. I scan a lot and have yet to have any problems with this printer.

    Waste of money

    • Written by Michael B from Samford

I bought this printer to replace an old 8600Plus bought in 2014, this printer looks nice, does not have a pull out tray, and is white instead of black. Apart from that it is slow has problems with paper and seams cheap and nasty for the price.
The older HP Printer was far better and I wish I had not changed my printer.

    Wonderful Printer!

    • Written by Bryan N from West Des Moines

Just bought this printer 2 weeks ago. The printing quality is beautiful! Took me about 60 seconds to set up with a MacBook and also a Windows 10 laptop. Very easy and effortless. This unit has some good cloud services like EPrint, which is awesome. I love that this printer has AirPrint and now I can print from the iPhone and iPad also. I appreciate the internal paper tray, which is always nice to have. Glad I purchased this. Much better than the value HP printer I was using before this

Paper Jam at least once a day!

    • Written by jennifer C from sulphur

First, this printer says "space saving"??? It is huge! But, I'll accept fault on that because I did not read the measurements.. but if you only have space for a medium size printer, please double check your measurements first!

Second, this printer took 6 hours to set up! What?? In this day and age of plug and play, it should NOT take 6 hours to set this up on your network and your Mac computer.

Third, I really should be returning this printer, but just don't seem to find the time or effort to dedicate to it. Probably will just chunk it out the door! EVERY single day, sometimes two and three times a day, it has a paper jam and you have to take the back of the printer apart to pull the stuck paper out.
So, back to it not being "space saving"? I have it in a tight spot because that's all the space I have. So to take it out to get to the back of the printer to remove the piece of paper is a pain in the behind!

Save your time... buy something else!
