Wish I had read the reviews first, would not buy again

I didn't bother reading the reviews since Apple was selling the product and that's how much I trust the quality of the stuff they usually sell. Can't believe I paid $50 for this! It doesn't fit the laptop well and I'm constantly having to repop the laptop into the case. One of the corners has cracked which I was shocked at since I don't remember dropping the laptop, but after reading the reviews looks like that's just something that happens. Gonna see if I can return it, but probably won't be able to...

    Corners Cracking

Fits great but like the other reviews, the corners did crack and begin to fall off. I have not dropped it and have a padded sleeve that I put it into when I am not using it and the case still managed to crack.

    Do Not Buy

I purchased this case for my new MacBook Pro. I had the first one for a few months when it started cracking on the bottom. I filed a claim and they sent me a new one. It lasted for about 4 months and it is now cracked on the bottom like the first one. Pieces are coming out like the first one. I have never dropped my MacBook or even taken it out of the house. So the case was not ever abused. I decided to buy a new case it is not an Incase item. There is some kind of a flaw with those.

Corners broke while not in use

The corners of this case started cracking and falling off on their own. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it except that the material used has an extremely low shelf life. I can see another user having the same problem.

    Couldn't fit my MacBook Pro

So I bought this case without thinking about it just because it was in the Apple store and thought surly it will fit, unfortunately this was not so.

Tried fitting onto my MacBook Pro, being careful to correctly place the rear side near the hinges. While most of the case snapped on, the base just wouldn't fit I started to put unreasonable force into my machine and still couldn't get it to fit, something I shouldn't have to do.

When it was on, it would stop the screen from opening the full range which is a good indicator for its not fitted correctly.

Save your time, don't buy it. Apple gave me 0 issues with returning this, so props to them.

    Don't bother

Just taken one back and despite assurances that Apple perform x many tests on the products blah, blah, blah, it doesn't fit. It doesn't fit because once on, you can't fully open the screen. Great testing Apple.

Awful case - do not buy!!

I bought this case with my MacBook Pro 10 months ago. All seemed fine at first. It has only been used at home, being safely stored when not in use - yet all the corners of the lower case, and 1 corner of the upper case have cracked, with pieces of plastic falling off the corners leaving sharp edges. Apple will not refund as it is "damaged" and Incase are also refusing to refund. Total waste of money!

    Don't buy.

The design of the case is not good, and does not even work with the adapter for addition ports.
    I would not recommend.

    Bad fit, bad quality

I have had the case on my computer for about a month. I've never moved my computer from my desk... both two corners of the case are completely cracked. It makes no sense. I chalk it up to being the way the case fits... which is not great. It's not secure at all and was tough getting on. It may be user error, but I tried everything to make it properly fit. Overall, I would personally skip this. I'm throwing mine away (a month into having it).

Really bad product! Ill fitting and will crack in no time!

    Rubbish!

This case looks nice on the face of it, but I agree with the other one star review.
It cracks at the corners because of the stressed fit, this has happened without any knocks at all, it is not possible that it has been knocked as I'm the only one who's touched it.
It also pops off frequently and prevents you opening the screen fully, in fact this is hazardous to the MacBook Pro, because when you push the screen back it catches itself and stresses the screen.
    I reiterate, it's Rubbish!

    Great Case

Currently using this case throughout college. So far, since buying it a month ago, it has protected my laptop from bumps and scratches while sitting in lecture and moving through campus. The case doesn't add much bulk or weight to the laptop, and slightly raises it. However, something I did notice, was that the angle at which you can open the laptop is limited by about 15 degrees from what you would be able to without the case. Attracts a bit of fingerprints that easily wipe off. Overall, solid purchase.

    DO NOT BUY

One of the worst shells iv ever seen!!! Doesn't fit properly, Breaks apart on its own, doesn't protect the laptop and stops the screen from tilting more than 85°!!! Its a piece of rubbish!!! Incase should be ashamed!!!

    Not happy jan!!!!

No Fit Snug + Cracks + No Protection + Restricted Screen Angle + Poor Value

This item is one of the worst things you could spend £40 on.

I purchased one for my new Touchbook Pro and it cracked within a month. Apple kindly replaced it, but within another month cracks have appeared yet again.

The case is used on a laptop that most frequently is connected to 27" monitors with an external keyboard, but i notice the incase plastic shell every time I open the laptop and the case restricts the angle of the screen.

This is a poorly made & poorly devised product, which Apple, for their own reputation, should remove from their shop.

For your own sanity, and value for money, buy a different case, if at all.

The Case Cracks At The Corners On Its Own.

I purchased this case for my MacBook Pro. I have had this case for almost a month. Not once since I have used this case have I dropped the laptop, bumped it into anything, nor used unnecessary force when handling the case. Yet about two weeks into getting this case I noticed cracks on the corners of the case. There is no way I could have caused them given that whenever I transport my laptop I always place it in a protective sleeve which resides inside an even sturdier backpack. And as ridiculous as it might sound, the cracks did appear on their own. If you do not believe me then I suggest looking at the other reviews who also claim that a similar scenario occurred with them. Based on the number of the other complaints, it can hardly be argued that this is a coincidence or even the result of the buyer mishandling the product. And the cracks continue to grow. If you want a case and don't care for cracks at the corners then this is the case for you. But if you do care about the cracks then I would suggest looking into buying a different case. If my review has any meaning I'd suggest Apple to remove the product from their stores because from where I'm looking at, the quality of the product does not match the quality Apple strives to endorse. No offense to Apple and Incase. Thank you.

    Underwhelmed

For years I've trusted this brand and product to protect my MacBook. I purchased this to protect my new MBP, while it has served its purpose I'm surprised as how fast its started to show wear and tear. After only a few months of ownership, I noticed hairline cracks in the four corners of the lower plate.. You could put this down to impact damage, however the only impact this has had is being slit in and out of a laptop bag or placed on a desk. Which makes me believe its caused by the heat from the MBP.

    Decent Case

This case is priecy but I did want to protect my laptop. A lot of cases on amazon have cheaper plastic and tend to break more easily. The installation was easy. It allows for the hinge to move all the way. If it does not move all the way, make sure that the bottom shell is installed from the rear vent. If it is not installed starting form the rear air vent, it will be stuck at 90 degrees. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to protect their Mac.

    Doesn't fit snugly

The case clips over the body with very thin small protrusions, however since the case is slightly larger than the width of the body of the Macbook they keep clicking off. I have had it less than a week and Im already looking for an alternative.

Awesome Case!!! Definitely recommend to others!!!

This case fits perfectly for my MacBook Pro! I would definitely recommend this product to other people. This case is a lot better than other models I have tried, which actually protrudes more than this case! It does indeed protrude on the sides though, but it is easy to over come with adjustments. Not every product is perfect, but it does its job by protecting my MacBook Pro! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Case limits the tilt of laptop

Case looks nice, but is difficult to get on to fit well. It definitely seems like you're going to break either the case or scratch the laptop as you try to get the case on. Once I was able to get the case on (still not sure if it's even on completely), I can't open the screen past the 90 degree angle in which the screen is perpendicular to the base/keyboard. Would not recommend this case.
