    Great product, useless customer service

    • Written by Moritz N from Thalwil

After having used Logitech's Spotlight for more than a year, I can say that it is clearly the best presentation device that I have had. In particular, the highlight and magnifying functions have proven to be really useful.

When it comes to Logitech's customer service, however, I am far from enthusiastic. After an update of my MacOS, I could not get the presentation device to work properly anymore, so I asked Logitech's customer service for help. When they finally reacted, none of their tips was of any use. After many weeks of to and fro (and hours spent on re-installing and reconfiguring software), I found the solution on Logitech's user forum. All it took was changing some settings in the new MacOS. I am at a total loss to understand why Logitech's customer service seemed to be entirely unaware of the problem (which, as I found out, was encountered by many users) and even less capable of resolving it. If this is the level of service and competence of their customer service, they can just as well close down the department entirely as far as I am concerned.

    Best presentation remote in class

    • Written by Alex H from Herne Bay

An excellent pointer device for presenting, works with both PowerPoint and Prezi.
I would have given it 5 stars except for the lack of an IOS app for ipad.

    Brilliant presenter tool but expensive

    • Written by Simon B from Bursledon

This is a very easy to use and novel presenter tool. The results look great and are very different from the small red dot of most presenters. It is nice to hold, the buttons sit comfortably, and the unit charges very quickly. Easy to programme the functions of the buttons. Biggest plus is that it is the first presenter that I have come across which will work with the Blue Tooth on MACS. This means you don't have to fiddle with the USB transmitter that all the others seem to need. If you do one or two presentations every few months it is probably not worth the cost, if you do several each week, as I do, it is worth it. My favourite presenter to date. 5/5 on function, 3/5 on cost, hence 4/5 overall.
