PlugBug Flies out of Wall for 100th time

    • Written by Nithura N from Mississauga

I'm writing this review after my PlugBug flew out of the wall for the 100th time. I don't understand why it can't be 3 prong vs 2? How can the magnet side connected to my laptop be stronger than the PlugBug side connected to my wall? It's so annoying. The wire is also really short. And it doesn't fit the extension cord included with my Macbook. Waste of money if you use your laptop in bed as the charger will always fly out of the wall the second you move your laptop 2 inches.

    Needs improvement

I purchased the PlugBug specifically for international travel. The plastics are very brittle and are easily damaged. The earth on the UK plug broke in my case on the very first trip. Not very happy with the quality of construction at all. There are better products out there.

This a very convenient charging solution which allows me to be able to charge all of my Apple devices without having to carry multiple charging blocks. For example, just last week, I was able to charge my iPad, MacBook Pro, iPhone (connected through the MacBook Pro), and Apple Watch all while sitting in the airport using one outlet because of this device. My devices charge quickly and I am carrying less bulk! I highly recommend the BookBook Caddy Shack from Twelve South to help organize and tote around all of your cables and the charger. I am a Twelve South fan for life!

I was hoping for a power supply/adapter that can charge a MacBook Pro/Air and charge a couple of devices at the same time. This makes it slightly easier (if you have a limited number of outlets) but is still very bulky - just as much bulk as two iPad chargers.
