    I like it a lot!

I got my iPad to carry around and do sketches with the Apple pencil. This case is an excellent way to carry and protect both, plus if you're using it landscape at a desk the folding stand feature of the cover is good (at about a 13 degree angle from the desk top). You can also stand it up at about 65 degrees for display purposes. I don't think you'd be working on it at that angle unless maybe you were lying in bed with a work table over the bed, like in a hospital situation perhaps.

In addition to the pencil holder slot, there's a slot for the female to female lightning adapter, which I was worried about losing. That adapter isn't really necessary, because the pencil charges so quickly by just plugging it directly into the iPad once in a while. A few minutes is all it takes. It's a little delicate in that position so you need to set it somewhere safe for the few minutes or you'll eventually be sorry... If you can't set the combination somewhere safe you'd better use the adapter.

I see a little extra area in the case where they could have added storage for an extra pencil tip. They missed that one. I might modify mine with an X-acto knife or Dremel tool. The spot is right next to where the pencil's tip ends up in the case. A person could put a tip into a little piece of tubing and jam that into the hollowed out space and I think it would stay there well enough.

    I am impressed!

I've had Otterbox cases for my iPhones and really really liked them. I checked for an Otterbox for my iPad, but didn't like the color choices, which were basically none!! So I came to the Apple website to see what I could find. Boy, am I glad I did!! I ordered the STM Dux Plus Duo Case in red for my iPad (6th Generation) and immediately fell in love with it!! The iPad fits snugly in the case and has great protection. This is a wonderful product at a great price!

    Very good case expect

The STM Dux plus duo case was a very good case for my ipad. The only thing that isn't good about it, is that to push the power button it is very hard and has no noise

    Wouldn’t pay $10

    • Written by kasy C from ainslie

Does not meet any of its functions other than simply covering the iPad. It is hard to use buttons through it and it is useless at supporting the iPad at any angle. It collapses when you try to type. Don’t waste your money.
I have visited the Apple store to bring this to their attention but they seem totally uninterested. The sales assistant I told tried to seek it to someone else in the same breath as thanking me for my feedback.

Don't try to turn it off

    • Written by kathi W from seattle

Sure if the IT folks could fix the issue with my work app I would dislike this case so much. However, the areas that line up with buttons to control then are not great. It is snug and sturdy on the ipad...but it is a struggle then to get the corner of the ipad out of the case to power on and off. I figured it must be a case Apple wouldn't even carry. But looking for a new case I saw this one and felt like I needed to say something.

I do not recommend it to anyone unless you never plan on turning it off and on.

Best most durable case out there

This case is very durable and comfortable. Quality construction throughout. Only thing I would add is a strap in the back for my hand. Will buy again!

These Other Folks Are Crazy! Great Case!

    • Written by Scott B from Jacksonville Beach

I am not trying to start drama, but some of these 1-star reviewers have impossible standards, it seems. The case fits my 6th gen 9.7" iPad perfectly and is quite snug. It's a great case if you have a 9 y/o using your tablet. The one reviewer who said the iPad "fell out" when the toddler shook it, I'm just not sure. I had this case in an Apple Store on a display iPad and the Apple Genius shook the device like crazy and the iPad stayed snug and safe. To the 1-star reviewer who said it was 'too heavy,' give me a break; the rubber sides, the magnet, and the cover itself add a NEGLIGIBLE amount of weight, at best. This is a solid buy!

Great case once again from STM!

    • Written by Izaak H from Warrington

This is a great case for the iPad (6th Gen). It gives complete piece of mind about the safety, as it is rugged: really rugged. I love the secure folio screen protector, which I find many iPad cases lack these days. The Apple Pencil holder is very useful and practical and nonintrusive . In addition the lightening female to female adaptor has a got its own little storage slot in the case, one of those small things that one is certain to loose unless stored somewhere.

    Not worth the money.

    • Written by Edward T from Broomfield

Too big/bulky, hard to power on & off, seems the case misses the button. Used the case 1 day and taking it back. Adds thickness and too much additional weight. Don’t waste your money or time.

    Big and heavy

    • Written by Jordan C from Houston

I got this and immediately returned it. It is very bulky. My 12.9 is already big enough. I don’t need to add on extra length. The flip screen is a little cheap looking. It is not cute at all. I’m all for navy and black. But it was not cute! Will not be recommending.
