    chaeply made

We bought a pair for my 16-year-old son. They worked great for the first few months, then the left speaker would cut in and out. Then when he was removing them from his laptop, they broke. The tip is stuck in the headphone jack of his laptop. Now he doesn't have headphones and we have to take the laptop to a repair shop to get it removed, which won't be cheap.

    Powerbeats3 wireless headphones- TERRIBLE

I received these headphones as a gift and less than six months later, they would not even turn on anymore. Reluctantly, customer service told me I could ship them back and have them repaired. After receiving the repaired beats in the mail, it only took a few months for them to do the EXACT SAME THING. I contacted customer service again and they said since I was out of the 90-day repair window, I would have to pay a $79 repair fee plus shipping costs to fix them yet again. I have had headphone cost $10 from TJ Maxx last longer than these $150+ ear buds. So disappointing, especially with the customer service!

    Good sound quality...until it wasnt

Sound quality was very good when I first started using them but I went to use one day and I couldn't hear anything that the artist was singing, only the instruments. For a week a thought it was my computer until I tried the headphones out on my phone and it was still bad. To get any mediocre sound, I have to adjust the sound on my computer all the way to right/left which somehow still comes out of both ears but just crappier quality. If I push on the part of the cord that goes into headphones, it will go back to great quality for that 2 seconds, and then right back to garbage. I no longer have my receipt and am disappointed since the only way to get these fixed is through Apple for similar price I bought them at. Overall unhappy not only with quality but also with "support." Will not be buying Beats headphones again

Great sound & even better CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Great bass, and easily the best sound from any headphones I've ever owned. I used these to travel, and after the first week I noticed the material on the cord was coming off rather quickly; seemed unusual but it didn't affect the sound. I tore my house apart looking for the receipt but couldn't find it. So I called customer svc and they very quickly reached a solution we were both happy with. They immediately sent an email w/case #, & the rep was clear with instructions; they'll be sending a prepaid envelope, I send only the earphones (no extras that came w/them) & they'll be replaced shortly. I'm super happy w/the level of customer service I rec'd & there was no issue w/me losing receipt. They really took care of me & made sure my issue was resolved. I'll ALWAYS recommend & buy beats!

    Good sound, bad comfort

I just bought a pair of these today. The sound is very good quality but as for comfort, the Beats EP is definitely lacking. Since the headband part doesn't have any kind of cloth, it hurts the top of my head, so I'm going to have to buy some memory foam and velcro to fix that. The actual phones could be slightly bigger for better comfort but it's passable.

    Great! But...

These are really good as far as fashion items *cough* beats go, but they easily become dirty and the carrying pouch that I use to wipe them broke, so I had to pay like £15 for a replacement pouch from eBay, which is basically just 2 sheets of semi-silk sewn together. All in all though don't sound too bad, but for high quality sound treat yourself to some sennheisers or shures. Great fashion item if a little bit too small as far as earcups go.

    Beats EP

I seen the size of the headphones (expected bigger) and I didn't think much of them, but when I finally used them, woah! The clarity, the bass, and I have an Android and the functions work except the volume up and down. Super great quality for the money spent. Highly recommend BIFFLG

    Poor Mic

Took less than a minute for my son to be extremely upset and disappointed by the mic. His friends said it sounded like he was far away in a different room and that the mic on the computer was better.

    Flimsy headphones

I first saved up to get my beats studio 3’s and was so excited about my purchase. The box looked nice and the build quality was good but not for the headphones, they were a little flimsy. A few weeks pass by maybe one or two drops from shoulder height (I’m 5’8) and you could tell these headphones weren’t built to last. One day I put on my headphones and the right cup wouldn’t go around my ear I did some investigating and discovered a screw has fell off... a screw fell out of my 300 dollar headphones! I kept wearing them as a i searched the website but found nowhere to get official replacements. Less than a year after my purchase the beats are unusable... I loved the beats, just the name gives you status walking around with them around your neck. They had wonderful sound quality but not so wonderful build quality. I wouldn’t buy this again... $300 down the drain, it took me longer to save up for these than the time it lasted.

Brilliant but flawed in some hidden ways

So first; I enjoy using these headphones. The sound quality is great and it blocks out noise quite well. However, this noise block comes at the expense of long use comfort. After 3 hours with it on, my ears were almost flattened and it felt poorly. Other minor problems include the chrome trim around the sides, which look very nice but are scratched quite easily, therefore making them unsightly. And mine did break once, due to listening to music at quite high volume. Other than that, do not let these issues fool you into believing the EP is unreliable; mine are used every weekday at school and the EP has survived being crushed by books and people trying to endlessly stretch it over their heads. So overall, a fine pair of headphones and one I’d recommend.

    Beats? More like BEAST

Just got these headphones and i’m lovinnthe sound quality. The bass is just enought to fill my ears. For 129.95, i think it’s definitely worth it.

    First Class Head Phones

I bought a pair of Bose over-the-head lightweight headphones off the Apple Store several years' ago when I purchased my iPod Classic. They were $129.99 roughly and lasted 4 years, but then started falling apart. I'll NEVER buy another set of headphones from Bose - cheaply made, and the sound quality wasn't anywhere near as good as these Beats EP On-Ear Headphones. I'm very, very happy with my purchase and the sound qualtiy is amazing.

Very cheaply made DO NOT BUY

Well I just got back from the genious bar and they were nice but my Beats EP are one month out of warranty and they want $79 to fix which is too expensive considering the original cost. If these were originally $30-40 I would have just thrown them in the garbage. The problem I have (and a lot of people after googling) is the wire became detached inside the cable. So, if I wiggle the connector and hold it just right, the headphones work. These headphones have a fixed cable unlike other Beats that have a replaceable cable. Cosmetically, the connector does not look damaged. The product is not up to Apple's high quality standards and should never have been released without a replaceable cable. They sounded good when they worked, but my strong recommendation to anyone considering this product is to look elsewhere. I regret this purchase and will only consider headphones (with wired connectors) having sturdier or replaceable cables.

    Headphones for small baby heads

Headphones are very small even in max size. feel like a condom on my head, your previous/other models are not like that please mention head circumference where the sizing is very very limited even with adjusments. otherwise sounds is excellent and high quality build. but still :S small and my head is not watermelon size.

    Not built to last

Purchased these for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. We’re just a month in and they are coming apart. My viewpoint might change if they allow us an exchange.

    Garbage

Literally had these headsets for 2 weeks. Didn’t use them that often maybe 5 times total and the stupid left speaker don’t work all of a sudden. And it’s really annoying. Product is garbage

Beats EP On-Ear Wired Stereo Headphone

I bought three of the Beats EP's, because the price was so good. One for me, one for wife, one for a friend. The sound is amazingly good considering it costs less than half of the Solo 3 headphone. In fact, for outdoor/portable use the sound is perfect. When used indoors with a good quality stereo system, the sound can be tweaked if needed by tone controls or EQ apps, to match nearly anyone's taste. The results are amazing. Highly recommended.

    Worst quality Beats EVER

I desperately wish I had read these reviews before I bought the Beats EP. Paid $130 for them at Best Buy for a birthday present for my niece and they didn't last 3 months, with probably less than average use, before the tip broke off in her new ipad Santa brought her for Christmas. We can't get the part out of the ipad, so it is basically ruined for headphones. And we can't replace the cord on the Beats b/c it's built in. Reading on here this isn't covered in the warranty ticks me off. With SO many people having this same problem, this should most definitely be covered by warranty and any beats that break like this should be replaced. I would expect this from $10 headphones, but not ones that cost $130. They should last longer than 3 months. It's ridiculous that Apple isn't doing better by their customers who spend SO much money with them.
